šŸŽ„ Must Watch Movies List for Zoomers

I’m not really in to crime/gangster films or much of a Scorsese fan either (I like science fiction). I only watched his other movies because I enjoyed Taxi Driver but mentioned his other movies that were worth a watch like Casino.

I suppose it’s all about taste and maybe I shouldn’t hate or criticise aviation movies because if you’re in to planes/aviation (which I’m not) then it’s a hit selling niche for those who are.

Blade Runner is a ā€˜slow movie’ (that seemed boring to many viewers) but I loved it because it’s my kind of film and taste (sci-fi). I even own the Blade Runner audiobook ā€˜Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep’ which they say is superior to the movie. The story of the copper (Rick Deckard) in the movie is around 20% of the passage/few chapters from the book. Whereas the rest of the book tells the story about the dystopian world of how citizens were effected by climate change, cybercrime, renegade AI/androids (in depth), new age emerging religion’s, the loss of humanity within people, how the population coped with life in a post-apocalyptic nuclear war and much more…

Never followed the Lethal Weapon trilogy but seen some of the second sequel. I thought the ā€˜toilet bomb’ scene was quite funny where Roger (played by Danny Glover) was sat on the toilet (pants down) and wasn’t able to get off the toilet because there was a bomb strapped to it that would detonate if he sat up off it. The bomb squad had to come in and awkwardly rescue him (along with his ā€˜buddy cop’)

ā€œI’m gonna die on the toilet aren’t I?ā€ā€¦ https://youtu.be/Ncvqhm9JU8Y

Some heavy emotional scenes, my favorite parts from Scarface, not Tony becoming rich, but this family scenes, how he loved his little sister, his momma being value driven and denying help from her criminal son,Amazing scenes…

Look at Rico’s creepy face around 4:23 and 4:58 lol

I’ve seen Scarface a few times, but I wouldn’t say I was a fan of it. I found it alright, but I preferred Carlito’s Way instead, to be honest. That’s another inspiration for the making of GTA: Vice City if you don’t know, and Ken Rosenberg’s is even in it too.

Do you remember that scene with Lalin when it gets caught wearing a wire? He’s like… ā€œI shit my pants everydayyy maaann!.. come on maaan!ā€

If you liked Scarface then you’ll enjoy this movie too (Carlito’s Way). It’s not a sequel or anything, it’s just a spin-off.

Have you ever seen Donnie Brasco?

Al Pacino is in this too, along with Johnny Depp and Michael Madsen. I would say this particularly has some heavy emotional scenes, it’s a great story.

Basically, Donnie Brasco (Johnny Depp) is this undercover FBI agent who’s infiltrated this high-ranking mafia crime family in New York that is supposed to be very dangerous. He posed as this actor with a fake persona and then later on developed this emotional bond or relationship with these gangsters, especially with his crime partner or buddy ā€˜Lefty’ (Al Pacino). Eventually he got too involved with them and began steering away from his undercover mission as the gangster life was dragging him in or altering his identity and personal character.

Did you ever get the chance to watch The Irishman?

I haven’t seen it myself but heard that it didn’t have the same ā€˜punch’ as the classics did have.

Nope, I haven’t watched that either.

My movie watching came close down to maybe 15 new movies per year, in the last few years, I have had years when I have watched 5 new movies…

When I was a kid and a teen/up to my 20s, I used to watch Lots of movies.

I know that I want to start watching new stuff and I guess that it’s a matter of time before I’ll watch more movies/year.

Do you know I also wouldn’t mind watching A Bronx Tale (1993) since I haven’t seen that before either but heard really good things about. It’s not epic but it’s a nice hidden gem everyone forgets about that anyone should consider on their watch list.

Check this out… a very emotional scene between father and son. The working class man is the tough guy!

For those who love well made occult horror stuff.
This is an older, but amazingly well done creepy movie.
That’s how movies in this genre should be done!
Director: Michael Mann

Do NOT watch the trailer if you want the full experience.
Of course, movie is not suitable for children of any age.

@SoulStar33 Movie takes place in Romania.

Also with an amazing soundtrack:
