My theory on why fields might not work sometimes

They are your most satisfying moments now because you overcome them.

Now, if you would find someone going through the exact same situation and the heavens open and you hear a voice telling you, you… since you already went through this hardships and overcome them, i am putting you back on that spot so you can help this person go through it all side by side and you teach them how you were able to endure and support all of it until you were able to solve it all.
Would you accept that happily?

Or would you help the person come out of it with the knowledge you acquired?

Believe one thing is for sure, if the person doesnt value saving time and pain through your help, life will meet with the person again and again until they learn what they need to.

People just need one, just one person, one opportunity, one perfect word, to ignite a good change, and that person does not need to be suffering to be able to help.

It does not need to stay in a suffering state to understand someone else’s suffering which is why i have a problem with that story.

I knew my purpose looooong time ago.

Since i was a child.

I struggled a lot half of my life in different ways, 90% of the time it was my choice! Ta dah!
If there is something i always felt was the intercession mixed with unconditional love, patience and trust from all the Universe, Gods and what not that might exist, and every time i fell on my knees upset and asking for light at the end of the tunnel, the answer was always the same:

“But you are your problem :woman_shrugging:t2:
The cause and the solution is within you waiting to be awaken, your inner powers are asleep”

And when i said 90% was on me, it could have been the effects of many things in the world but it was my fault not to raise above and use the abilities i knew i had.

Every time i grew and evolved was thanks to Masters and Guides that were there to light the path for me so i could remember where i come from and who i am underneath all the wrong.

Every single one of them (like Captain) inspired me, and gave me the push i needed.

None of them were suffering, i would have never paid attention to them to be someone to follow and learn from if they were in a bad place in their lives or telling me, just endure and accept and one day maybe youll be ok with struggle and survive.

And if it wasnt for them i would have stayed like a ball in the air bouncing back all over or come to realization very late in life for what? To die in peace? Nah, life is to enjoy it and to push others to enjoy it as well, and be one. A happy one.

Its a pitty the writer used the beautiful name of an Angel to justify his idea of you must suffer in order to fulfill your purpose. No Angel would do that. Keeping someone in pain to teach them something or to make sure they understand something.

Its my last comment on this  cause we would keep going in circles my friend. At the end im happy we are here.

I see your point. My focus, and main take away from the story really was/is “Who would you be without your wound”? It’s what I contemplate when I feel a field isn’t working for me. Now granted, I don’t suffer, not in the way many people here do. And although I am a happy person in general, I don’t feel my goal in life is to be happy. For sure I enjoy my happy moments, but I try to focus more on being “satisfied” and for me, that means taking on adversity when it shows up instead of avoiding it. I’m not always happy about it, in fact I complain bitterly most times, but for me, when I’m done complaining about it, it’s “ok, heads down, let’s go”. And then I go and go until I find myself on the other side. For me, it’s the only way.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, Luna Moon. I enjoyed this “getting to know you moment”. I really appreciate your point of view and think that in many ways, we are saying the same things. I look forward to many more such exchanges down the line.

with your reply it reminded me of the christian story of Job who lost everything but his faith which brought him even more abundance than what he lost!

Yes, that’s what I took away from the story of Job as well.

Job is such an interesting story in so far as it delivers on an interesting premise. It starts out (to me) in the realm of the ridiculous…meaning… so, my thought process goes something like this…“God makes a bet with the devil…really? Are they even equals? how could they have a bet if not as equals” But on further contemplation, "it depends on who the devil is…is it Satan, a true representation of evil, or is it Lucifer, the bringer of Light? (Obviously, I need to do more research here but…) why/how would a “bringer of light” be fallen…fallen how? In the Promethean sense? If so, then can’t be bad because Prometheus was (in Greek mythology) a protector of humanity (as well as its creator) …and on it goes. (Sorry to bore you with the contents of my brain but I find Job fascinating). Then it occurs to me that good & evil really are perfectly balanced in the universe, so yeah, maybe in some sense they could be equals (even though it still insults my sensibility on one level to think this way - I’m sure its my upbringing/programming).

I love when God shows up and tells Job something to the effect 'if you could know the mind of God then you would be God…so better to trust". I get the sense that the implication is that you, Job, in your human form couldn’t possibly comprehend what is “God” lest your head explode, or something like that. I think that our human form is too dense (literally) to fully comprehend the higher realms. We get a whiff of it at best but don’t even know the half of it! And yet if we trust in its existence (which I do) we are so well rewarded (which I am)!

Anyway, I could go on but I won’t…I think my fascination with Job stems from the way the story is “humanized” for comprehension. What I once scoffed at, I now ‘get’ in the sense that I now understand that the lesson is framed in such a way as to improve the chances of comprehension by the most people. There’s levels to it. Those types of constructs must be what allowed these instructive stories to remain in tact over the pre-literate eras.

So much to learn…

Thank you @psynergy for inspiring me with such an interesting contribution (and for letting me bend your ear!)!

You’re onto something here. To be completely honest I’m too lazy to go into depth about it- but we Gnostics understand that God and The Devil symbolically work together to tempt the initiate for his own growth. It’s why The Devil always obeyed God when told to test Job. We use the term Kristus-Lucifer for a reason. They are in a sense equal as they are opposite polarities of the same thing. Not because we worship the Devil. But, I’ll just tell you meditating on the relationship between God and The Devil is very enlightening and will help overcome programming of the church and modern day understanding of Christianity.

Also, important to note God and The Devil aren’t anthropomorphic beings likes a lot of people believe. You can on one level look at The God and The Devil as symbols of the battle of the ego and the soul from a psychological perspective and the lessons extracted from comprehension of the ego and it’s temptations. Or you can say your Higher Self placing you in uncomfortable situations to help you grow. Temptation is fire. Triumph over temptation is light.

I’m sure a lot of what I’m saying will be misinterpreted and it’s literally impossible to explain something that needs to be intuitively understood anyway. Meditation on scripture brings true understanding. Not reading the dead letter like it’s a newspaper.

I agree with you. This is an important insight. And while I don’t technically identify as Gnostic (or anything else for that matter) , I certainly understand your point of view. And I also understand your caution. In discussing Job, I’ve alienated quite a few people by making that very observation (the one you identify as “Kristus/Lucifer”).

Yes, I agree but wouldn’t you agree it is an important introductory mechanism as it helps people to begin to conceptualize what God/The Universe, Et al may be. After some point, one progresses on to the next level of understanding & the next. It’s the reason the shape of the nautilus is sacred…its the pattern of…everything, really. Learning, the Universe, etc etc etc. (I, too am feeling too lazy to go into too much detail but I suspect you understand what I’m trying to say).

I couldn’t agree more!

Thank you for the stimulating conversation @Gnosticmedic27 ! I look forward to reading more on your Gnostic beliefs (when you have the time and are so inclined)!

:100:I definitely agree.

I should clarify I don’t identify myself as any specific religion either or even Gnostic (like the early Christians that called themselves Gnostics). I’m Gnostic in the sense of the word Gnosis - knowledge from spiritual experience. I study all religions and through practical efforts try to understand them all and their connections. The highest religion is the Truth. While the truth can be found in the esoteric roots of all religions, I’m not attached to any particular one.

Look forward to more stimulating convos as well bro.

Interesting. Well, based on your definition then, I guess I could say I don’t directly identify as anything but if I did it would be “Gnostic”.

Thank you (again)!
