You still can, it just depends on what you’re goals are.

If you want to concentrate your forces on certain aspects like midface and facial harmony -
then go for it.

Intensity on certain areas, maxilla is still a great field.

That’s true, in my eyes I’d go for the more general field like this, and let the changes take care of themselves. And then if needed I can be more precise
