Neville Goddard vs Dr Joseph Murphy

From what I observed this is a natural consequence of starting conscious manifesting - your world starts to shake. To be completely honest, when I first came across Neville, I tossed the book aside.
It was too complicated and just too much.
But then, I think a year after that, I just had the urge to get back to it and since then I love the teachings.

What you are describing, this kind of doubt, is a very common programming we all got, probably. I mean, compare the teachings to what we all learned to be ā€œtrueā€, thatā€™s veryā€¦ far out there, to say the least. So this is natural. The best you can do is to make it a life style.

Could also be some sort of awakening. Have you thought of that?

Same thing was with me

I found him 2011 and I immediately reject him, I was pissed on him lol then year after year I started to read him and then again reject over and over cycle, but after I finally started to understand some english I saw it maybe has some valueness in it, and now after I found him on my language it all seems natural when reading him

Never thought about it
Honestly I donā€™t know anything about ā€œawakeningā€ just heard some stuff about it in this forum and in some new age forums years before, but never mind, somehow I donā€™t care about it idk

I mean awakening in the sense Neville described what happened to himself. It seems like when people get in contact with manifesting, things start to happen and they get drawn back to it again and again. Maybe it is some part of their consciousness awakening to lost abilities, and it wants them back

Well that could have sense, seems familiar idk

I just wouldnā€™t like to experience ever in my life that what Neville called ā€œPromiseā€ , that state of being without having wishes, needs and goals, cause I didnā€™t still achieve anything in my life what mediocre world my ages already did, I mean at least in my world

I just hope I will never experience that thing called Promise, ever, having abhor for it

Haha I know what you mean. I remember once when I listened to Eckhart Tolle, I had a crisis because I thought ā€œIf everything is just as okay as everything else, why strive for something else when it is all the sameā€
Man, I never felt so empty in my life, I can assure you :joy:
I know this is probably not what he meant, but some part of me took it that way.
I personally think we are here to experience whatever we want, so it is healthy to have ambitions

At the end of the day its all comes down to energy i have realised the more energy sensitive i get the more easier things come to me the more quickly i can manifest i can literally sometimes feel im in a different place and feel the stuff in that place everything here on earth was once someones imaginationā€¦everyone have his own path and journey to follow what works best for me might not work best for the next guy when im in 5d state i can do literally what the guys does in the movie limitless my subconscious does things thats hard to explain but this comes with daily meditation and energy exercises thai chi qigong yoga and listening to morphic energy fields and subliminals switchwords and healing codes all the same by the way i never learned or pratice any of the energy exercises my subconscious took over and mastered it all immediately instant manifestation.

Hey guys. I have started reading about this manifestation. I do manifest to a great deal but itā€™s not always on point. Can you please give me some points what should I reslly be doing to manifest better things in my life? I have read, I should disassociate myself with the outcome. But how will I get results if I donā€™t think about or work for it? Pretty vague for me!

Live like you already have what you want if you already have it no need to think about it

Iā€™m really not an expert, because if I was I would have all the things I want already,

but studying this for years with pauses I realized, if you donā€™t let go, if you care for it, then you take the free will and then you decide for yourself how you will do and what, and you dictate everything, and hand on heart we donā€™t know anything and we donā€™t achieve anything eventually because of that, or at least we wouldnā€™t be satisfied with results = Ego

but if you let go, if you say I donā€™t care if it comes true or not, then you give your free will to God, or what people here say on this forum to your Higher Self, and that being that is connected with everything , it starts working with everyone without your ego, for your greatest good and for everyone goods and suddenly gives you manifestation

I hope this is clear with you now

But letting go is the most fearful part for some people, cause we donā€™t believe there is this being for us

Convincing yourself that everything is imaginery (yeah I know itā€™s absurd but thatā€™s what I get reading this book lol donā€™t judge me please, I donā€™t like neither but well it works somehow in my case) and illusion which IME (in my experience) you can achieve reading book which resonating with you over and over again that speak about this

IME that is book Law and Promise, for example, cause in this book are endless examples of people manifestation

One tip if you want:
Create one special fb account, and add all Neville Goddard fb groups which exists and nothing else, and you will have all answers from people posts. You will see how these people manifest so easy and then you will eventually have faith that you can also do it. Just one tip if you want off course.

Thank man. I appreciate the detailed answer. The whole thing of manifestation, I find extremely contradictory. Like, I manifested some good things in my life without knowing how these things worked. When I started reading, I could understand some of the things.

Thanks again for the tips. :slightly_smiling_face::slightly_smiling_face:

Could you share a bit more on this please? I would love to know =)

Sure. One of the main points is his conclusion that we (our consciousness) is God, so he and you and I are god. There are a lot of people in the spiritual communities who believe this is true, but I donā€™t.
I think we (our consciousness) are from God and thus have the power to create, but that doesnā€™t mean we are the actual, infinite, eternal God. I like to compare this to a book you write.
Imagine you would write a novel with characters in them.
Each character would be rooted in you, thus mirror certain aspects and qualities of you.
But none of them is you or could replace you, because 1) they are your creation and 2) as your creation they lack dimension. (The topic of dimension is also a very interesting to discuss btw)
So that is about that.

Another thing I donā€™t agree with is his standpoint on the bibleā€™s whole purpose beeing teaching how to manifest. I donā€™t think this is the case, I think it is one of the many aspects of the Bible, and other very important aspects are compassion for other people, revising your idea of justice etc.

Why not Florence Scovel Shinn? :slightly_smiling_face:

I heard of her, was thinking about getting her book.
Do you prefer her teachings, if so would you care to elaborate?

Yeah man!
Also with the Bibleā€™s purpose. I found that a little too one dimensional.
Nevilleā€™s discovered a nice piece of the elephant. But itā€™s still not the whole beast.

Florence Scovel Shinn has great book ā€œgame of life and how to play itā€ . Reading it over and over again you will suddenly release many many blockages. Itā€™s short book worth reading. Believe me.

I read it many years ago and I donā€™t remember everything, but I have kept some of its powerful statements. A lot of respect for the other two good authors, but in my opinion this woman had an edge or if we want to be clearer, she completed them.
