Maybe try not to feel too guilty about it and look forward and learn something from it. Next time wait for a proper response from the person you want the approval from. Don’t get too defensive now… you know close yourself off because of possible attacks. What should matter is if you hurt the captain in some way or not.
Not defending but maybe apologizing if you think that is the right way.
And even… for next time maybe ask for more help! Many of us got some powerful healing nfts. Servitors, some gods even. There are always some other ways it probably isn’t easy to see them when you’re in distress.
There’ll always be someone who is there for you when you ask.

I think it will be for the best if I leave.

I agree.
I made a misstep yesterday when I was expressing my concern regarding this group and cults. I wound up offending someone and thought that maybe I should leave.
You know what I decided on, though?
I decided to not run away, and that’s exactly what it would have been, too: running away.
I chose to apologize, try to explain better, and hope for the best.
To my opinion (I may well be wrong, and if it is, I’m sorry), it sounds like you’re doing the same thing I was going to, which is to run away.
Give yourself some time, and let this mess blow over.

Exactly.
We all have different backgrounds and situations. There will always be some conflicts.
Just because you don’t get along with a couple people doesn’t mean you don’t have a place here (creating large drama everyday is different ofc).
You can mute and ignore some people and threads. Sometimes there are bigger events happening with a lot of energies too.
Maybe in a few months you get along fine with people you previously couldn’t. Change is a constant here.
Just do your best and move on possible mistakes

From what I´ve experienced the last days (rl, not this forum):
Never take people and their opinion that much to heart.
What you experience with them is only a temporary state.
Dynamics, mindsets and energys are constantly shifting.
People often spill something with absolute conviction, just to change their beliefs a week or 2 later and suddenly come across as fully different personalitys.
You can have an extreme argument with somebody and encounter that person 2 weeks later in a higher vibration.
Suddenly you both are on the same page and you can easily disarm a conflict, something that seemed impossible before.
Most don´t even know who they are and what they want, but sure as hell tell others how they should live.
Don´t be ashamed or feel guilty about something just because somebody else has another pov.
Just live your life, according to your best knowledge and judgement at the time, keep growing and ignore the barking.
Don´t compare yourself to others, no matter how “advanced” some people seem, everybody is still growing.
Your perspective will probably change often enough along your way. Just make sure it´s your own way.
Not talking about yesterday but in general.
