I imbued my necklace with the lucky field sigil, and after I was done, I was unsure about whether it was actually imbued. So, the following day after, I decided to imbue it a second time just to make sure that the field of luck was completely on there. Did I make a mistake? Not sure if doing it twice will have any adverse effects on it.

I would like to know this too as I imbued my Dragon Golem on an item a few days ago but Iām not sure I did it with the proper intent nor I can feel him, so I would like to try it again.

Its no mistake, nothing adverse. Only side effect can be its more lucky :)

How much XP do you have with this? Or is that just a guess?

logically, my understanding is it can be either 1x or 2x, rather its tough to quantify.
Normally imbuing multiple fields in a single object is ill advised. In some cases the 2 fields continue working. But since these are identical fields there shouldnt be any problems unless you boost them. Infact the fields just may reinforce each other. Keep the thread updated
