One food for the rest of your life!

Sunday is here, hope you all are unwinding, taking the rest you well deserve…

So, hypothetically, just hypothetically to make this read a tad interesting; what if in a dystopian future, the food printers are programmed to make only one dish and everyone get to eat only one food, just one, be it a dish, side dish, vegetable or fruit etc, to eat for the rest of our lives; you being the commander of the United Earth forces get to choose that one food.

What are you feeding humanity for eternity?!!!

Mine, would be Ragi Sangati (rice mixed with millet powder and made into a ball) with Mutton gravy or country chicken gravy, both taste good. It is healthy and tasty, you get essential nutrients and fibre, so your stomach might never revolt, lol…

(Yes, this maybe be a silly attempt to find interesting foods across the world I want to taste, maybe :man_shrugging: 🫣)

Shoyu ramen (w fresh noodles ofc)
But since that would make everyone super fat, also a tomato salsa (w coriander and chili)

But if you want interesting/traditional food of our area, I prefer chicken paprikas to goulash… but if you make it do it with real sour cream from an eastern European shop, not cream or half N half or some bs

Shoyu Ramen is Chinese, right, I have googled but want to be 100% sure, we have good chinese restaurants here, I will try :handshake:

Ghoulash is Hungarian??, hard find, hope I get the right recipe online…

A good choice to feed humanity!

If I am made to eat Subway or Popeyes every day, I would start an insurrection so fast, the French would be proud… lol, just kidding… atleast a tasty choice!

It is Subway and Popeyes for the humanoids!

Cook the chicken, not the goulash. It’s easy, but you need quality paprika.

Japanese, but go to a proper ramen place that specializes in ramen, not e.g. a sushi place which also serves some ramen (that will be probably good enough if you like soup but not anywhere near the level. It’s like McDonald’s Vs a quality burger)

What’s particularly concerning about eating them everyday

An open-ended one. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
A poke bowl of various seasoning and other elements that bring flavour and texture (whatever is available).

The hearty serving of rice that anchors the dish, transforms from a snack into a meal, topped with rainbow hue representing various cultural flavours.

This thread will surely make me salivate.

Not much of a cook, so I will try and find quality restaurants around here that serve quality… 🫡

Nothing really
Logically it should be sth very nutritious which doesn’t get boring over time… Like you suggested.

But that wouldn’t be fun lol
How about dumplings with various fillings ?

I love dumplings!
It is essential, right? Taste without nutrition will not sustain you for longer periods but each man to his own! :man_shrugging:
