Patreon trouble

I don’t know where this is supposed to go, so if this is in the wrong place, I’m sorry.

I tried to download Overcoming Addictions track via Patreon. I say tried because, well, it’s what I call pretending. The app says it’s “downloading”, but after it’s “done”, the file can’t be found anywhere. Not in downloads of “My Files” app, not in my music player, nowhere.

Like I said, pretending.

I thought that you guys should know, because that’s going to cause a lot of trouble with Patreon users.

ETA: This is on the Android mobile app, not PC.

Right-click on the word download and you should be able to save it where you want it. Does that help?

It seems to be a problem with the earlier posts. I sorted by oldest first and Gregorian Chants doesn’t work either. My guess is that a Patreon upgrade hurt some legacy features.

Ah the app has been doing that for awhile. Open your browser and go to the patreon website instead then click the three dots under a post and download from there

Open post in app, go to tap on vertical ellipsis in top-right corner, tap Save As.
