The idea of a podcast is pretty new and allows the listeners/viewers to engage in in-depth discussions on specific and general topics with well informed guest speakers - if conducted well. It is an evolving medium but represents a clear transition from more traditional media, which usually cannot accomodate such depth of investigation, to something more resembling natural dialogue and fluid conversation. Or they can just be fun. Anybody have a podcast that they are particularly fond of? Or a subject they would like to explore through this medium. I’ve been listening/watching the Lex Fridman podcast on youtube for a while now (Lex is a professor (I believe) of engineering at MIT). I like his podcast because he has a huge variety of fascinating guests from many backgrounds, educations etc, and he really tries for genuine conversations and meaningful discussion not only about the specific topic but also life, death, and meaning itself. Also he has guests with, on the surface, opposing points of view and seeks to find sense in the chaos.
