What he means is people who have been abused become still in their efforts of conclusion out of fear of similar phenomena happening again, they intend to ‘normalize’ it as part of the world and adapt accordingly. It’s a general fear of randomness, as well as not being ‘sure’ of how to handle situations positively which in their entangled projection or experience happened negatively. And thereby they become random and destructive as an adaptation, simply put, and this beingness can be expressed in different ways, it can range from light ‘self-defense/avoidance/disagreement’ to ‘aggression/anger/abuse’.
