I loved GT’s impatience.
Shred people’s egos and make them rethink their life choices.
GT would NOT be patient with folks who wasted his time (I am not saying folks here do that, just a general statement). And he was not confrontational because he wanted to be a contrarian just for the sake, he was because he “knew” his stuff - a key aspect that differentiated him from mere rabble rousers and posers. He had a certain conviction that was based on direct experience and not guesswork or assumptions. And at the same time, he was willing to expand his knowledge in aspects he did not know…He will be greatly missed!
I still do appreciate that you are not like GT - while that could be taxing to you, it helps folks like us here who benefit by your patient participation.
Couldn’t have said it better myself (although I did already say it in that other thread ).
Yep, he knew his shit backwards and forwards and couldn’t tolerate people bullshiting him and wasting his and other’s time.
Old school Wizard through and through.
Yeah. Saruman maybe. Trouble starts when you think your"shit" does’nt stink and you can smear it on anybody else even if they dont ask for it.
