Sure. We had a Kansas but not everyone who wanted to live in Kansas was able to live in Kansas because people had to keep moving west to fulfill the Divine Manifest Destiny so some of those people got a little farther west and decided to settle down and named their place Our Kansas and over the years it kept getting more and more abbreviated as things often do until today it’s simply referred to as ArKansas.
