Iā€™ve heard a psychologist in TV (on a show about childrenā€™s tales and how good they are psychologically) saying that children are showing adult tendencies very early. And ofc a total lack of imagination, sort of.

I think there are other interpretations for this, but yeah the overall effect may have been negative.

Iā€™ve seen this too! The exclamation is my surprise because I really thought I was the only one seeing this. Itā€™s weird to see children taking on the personality of predacious adults. Almost looks like possession.

ive seen children that are just adultsā€¦like just exactly like an adult but in a children body still

technology is really ruining them

Itā€™s so freaking weird man. Reminds me of a section from one of the Dune books. Where Alia is this little girl but with adult memories and it compares it to possession. Talks about it eroding her willpower volition and freewill.

like that movie with the kid in love with Nicole Kidman xD

As you can see, body parts are kidney and adrenal, in TCM kidney and adrenal emotions are fear.
So for me it makes sense how it is all connected lol. @Drift

Sci fi but the way Herbert writes it itā€™s often like the sci is allegory for spiritual things like reincarnation.

Iā€™d love to be able to live without technology. But it does make things easier. Iā€™d either try to predict this, or go without technology for a while and see what is necessary and what is a waste. Then, you may need discipline (social media and feeds have drained my will power i tell you xD)ā€¦but then it is a matter of habit

on the other hand, they never stop changing UIs and stuff and I think iā€™d fall for itā€¦you gotta click where you dont want to, to find what youā€™re looking forā€¦your old beloved website is gone (xtrememind eg xD) and you have to learn a bunch of new stuff to use the new websites (i went through the whole discobot tutorial here yknow xD)

i think we collectivelly should funnel humongous amounts of money to the internet archive and then we can keep the internet how we like itā€¦all our websites and stuff xD

I see. I like this view.
I was thinking that root is first circuit-survival so thatā€™s why too. But TCM connects too. It is all connected. Got my self-realization 2 for today xD

I found this interesting and so want to share with anyone interested in AI

I asked ChatGPT to generate a list of words meeting the following criteria. Words beginning with Re that form a different word when the Re is removed and where the second words is significantly different in meaning from the original word.

So something like Removed > Moved would not meet the criteria. But Recur > Cur would meet it.

It had a harder time with this than I expected. We went through about half a dozen attempts and each time it was successful with about 50% of the words on each list.

Finally to get the list I wanted I had to just give it a list of numbers from the previous list that I wanted it to include on the next list. On all the attempts before it I took the approach of telling it which words it got right and which it got wrong and why. That seemed to help some but did not fully remedy things. It seemed to help only a little.

I suggested to it that its difficulty with the task was due to the difficulty in quantifying the difference in meaning between two words. It agreed. The differences are often in degree. To me it seems binary: same, not the same. But when I really think about it there are shades of similarity and difference.

Hereā€™s one of the lists it performed the least well on. I told it only 4 5 and 6 fit the criteria from this list.

Just to give you the idea. But on other lists it was about 2/3rds correct and on others 50%.

What if you just saidā€¦maybe Iā€™m wrong here but isnā€™t re- a preffix?

So it would just be a matter of asking for words that with the preffix have no relation to the original word. Or words that canā€™t use the preffix as a modifier as the word with the preffix already exists but has a different meaning.

Still it seems you got a conversation there and somehow it worked.
