Slow the motion down to as slow as you can just body weight
Just practice being able to rep it out in stable manner, while trying to go as low as possible with out sacrificing perfect form
Do that with no weight for a while
Then do that with just the bar and no weight
Build a foundation first lol
Get comfortable in the movement
If you slow it down more, more muscles fibers learn to fire through out the motion rather than relying on certain muscles exploding at the bottom range of an ass to grass squat (ham strings and glutes, adductors, little to no quads, quads fire generally at parallel and above)
So when you actually go up weight, youâre ready to give 110% of everything in your lift
Because every thing has been there before, itâs familiar with the motion and has even broken itself down in it in a way that promotes stability, mind muscle connection, and strength in mobility.
Your body is intelligent it will compensate in motions where itâs lacking strength in order to operate in an energetically efficient manner
If you have strong ham strings and glutes and donât have strong quads let alone good mind muscle connection⊠Your quads will never see the sunshine on leg day lol
Also good to learn to breath
As it will force you to hold your breath through longer reps so your diaphragm, intercostals and core muscles will get a work out too and become more efficient at doing their jobs⊠in a squat those muscles will keep the pressure within your body super tight and will promote better energy transfers as there wonât be energy leakage in uncontracted stabilizing muscle fibers
