It sounds legit. I dunno if humans can be used just like that but if they can…then psychopaths would be a unique case. Maybe easier to use, maybe harder. The thing is these beings could be aligned in purpose…only reason they ever “cooperate”.
And yknow…this is the typical theory of “higher self chooses everything for your growth”.
For me…they just know no better. And thankfully it was clear to me as day that they were wrong. I mean…I was gaslighted not that long ago…imagine someone lying to you to your face, saying with their eyes and tone “yes I’m lying but I won’d admit it so stop pushing for the truth”.

But the motives of people can range from “knows no better” to being a complete psycho. And then, I hope there are no “forces” also coming through people into my life…humans are a pain in the ass already.
