I liked that anime, but the difference is that I watched it without any expectations, I simply liked the synopsis

I agree. I’m always open to alternative stories, and I don’t tend to cling tightly to narratives, but I really do feel it was real and not a psy-op. And just as you said, we are talking mere centimeters having a completely different timline in effect, which is very trippy to me. Especially being a U.S. citizen - it just feels very significant.

Yeah, these are the little things that can create a totally different timeline/dimension. It’s like that story that if Hitler had been accepted into art school, the WWII would not have happened, and maybe that’s how it was in another timeline.
