What were other first CD’s you purchased?

Idk how it’s in where you live but here nobody buys them anymore and we haven’t used for a long time. Puts me in so much nostalgia each time I see them.
We still kept them in front of our TV and made mom angry lol. But after like 15 years of constant fight it got removed to a different place in the house x)

I love Romania… Wanna learn the language one day. Best music has come from there, the language sounds so beautiful and balkan people are just really close to the heart.
And the nature of course… trees…many trees

I’ve met Americans in chats who talked about buying a lot of CD’s(in the past) and stuff. I felt very irrelevant as if I couldn’t have what they had lol. Very dumb of me I know

Jk of course!

You wanna be famous? Interesting x)

That’s literally what I thought about yesterday lol. “Gotta get rich fast”
But I try to not think like that usually, it’s just another reminder of not having it

Haha, I can’t be the only one.
It’s an interesting language, plus the Germans have an Amazing Rich History, they left a Huge impact on Romania, more specifically Transylvania (Siebenbürgen in German).

Speaking of some of my favorite subjects (Romania, German language and History), this is a must visit, if You want to experience probably the Best preserved Medieval place in Europe, a town still inhabited:

Anyway, there are countless beautiful places in Romania, and indeed, the Language is a Beauty (the only huge remnant of Latin in Eastern Europe), a mix of Latin and Slavic influences, some Dacian words and some Hungarian and other languages sprinkled here and there…

Imagine how the generation before you feels when they here people speak of cassettes! haha

And eh

About wanting to be famous,

I think the easiest way of doing it for me is fame

Duuuh…No way I’m leaving this Earth without traveling to Romania. Doesn’t necessarily have to be Translyvania tho. I’d rather see villages and get into the feeling of how it must have felt to live there

Yes, the Latin and Slavic together is just muah😤
I’ve always been a fan of authentic east and west synthesis in art, music and all
Romanian music sounds so eastern sometimes
Touch of Arabic
Or touch of Romanian in arabic lol
Anyhow, great from all angle points

I had tons of cassettes :sob::sob::sob:
I still have hope I can restore them one day.

Interesting viewpoint, I’ve never thought this way tho
Most ways of doing money are not through fame tho

That got me thinking
Romanians look very interesting by the way. Balkans have a very beautiful and unique look and it diverses

It’s a mix, we have heritage from many ancient and medieval people.

Many folks settled these lands and countless more just passed by…
From Ancient Dacians, Thracians and even some Celtic populations, Romans brought from all over the Empire, to Germanic Confederations and Slavs, Hungarians (they ruled Transylvania for centuries), Bulgars, Heck even the Mongols reached the eastern Moldavian lands…
And others too (Mehmet and Suleyman smiling lol) …
It’s a long list lol, a tumultuous history, but above all, Wallachian and Moldovan Principalities became the (main) basis for modern Romania…
Later, barely a century ago, after a tumultuous start of the century (a Great War and all) Transylvania and Crișana and Banat joined the Union.
Then came a sort of Golden Age, with the Hohenzollern Dynasty at the realm, then (surprise!!) another Great War took place (sigh…), the Germans became de facto rulers,…, then the Russian hegemony started and the Communists took over and later (after a bloody revolution or rather bloody coup) Ceaușescu left the country debt free, (the only nation in history BTW), then came so called Democracy and Modern times…

Then we Joined NATO and the European Union (it’s the Americans’ and EU’s turn to rule Romania)…

Hopefully we’ll have some peace lol (looking to the East…).

After reading your posts I catched myself regretting not studying history in school…
I love it but I found lessons extremely boring, meh

I believe Hungarian is still used a lot right? And there must be a lot of Hungarians living there too…

This country has been through a lot but I believe every little country has that amount of external ruling throughout history…

But right now this country seems as one of the most stable and safe ones to me
