Yeah right!

He lost so many times

Sugar Ray Robinson… Muhammad Ali…

Those 2 I think

Tyson wouldn’t hesitate to say are greater than himself

What for? I don’t think so
Didn’t Tyson always say he made him eager for win, made his ego super big and all?

No I mean,

To me greatness isn’t being a killer in the ring
It’s being able to kill, but not doing it, and showing mercy in the ring…

Truly, that makes him real and humble, and loving
He loves and respects Mohammad Ali
Always cries about him
He says he gave his all to box
And that he, himself could never do that

Those things make him greater to me😌

Because he was the only man able to tame and control Mike

Kept him off drugs

And also had all the information ever needed to make him the best at his craft

Losing doesn’t make you less great bro
The point is not about never losing

Yeah sure,

But his resume is whatever

“Lennox, im coming for yew!”

BANG
Got taught a boxing lesson from the English giant.

As much as I know he always judged his own cruelty and stopped later

I’m being too hard on him

But we’re debating the absolute best here

Yeah but, he never was able to show a man like Douglas or Lennox Lewis mercy

Because he wasn’t good enough over a long enough period of time

Which is what’s needed to be able to call oneself the greatest

It isn’t looking spectacular against nobodies…

Nobody talks about the men Tyson beat for the most part

Because they weren’t top of the top

Muhammad Ali on the other hand…

You know what’s up, I’m impressed with you currently

I gotta do a patrol, pleasure talking to you! Cya later

That was useful when he was young
I think he might have influenced him in a bad way also during that time
And it was better for Tyson to be free from him
So that he can work on himself
Tame himself
And his ego
All by himself
As it should be

Maybe for his soul journey haha

But definitely not his career

He was still lost when Cus died…

He was still a teen or maybe just 20 (nope, I remembered correctly he was 19)

The way Cus influenced him

Was so that Mike sacrifices his body mind and heart to just be a boxer

He was even doing hypnosis techniques on Mike

Mike wanted Cus to be proud of him

That was his father figure and more…

That’s exactly what’s needed lol it’s to manifest and beat other manifesters

It’s not about whats best for him as a person, but as a boxer (in this sense, the debate of what’s best for him career wise… Boxing is a sacrifice, I know it)

Boxing is a battle of…Will… Confidence… Heart… Mind… Knowledge… and body

Can’t be humble really, you’ll manifest some one more excellent infront of you

Tyson needed to be a monster…

For example Pacquiaos humble

But he’s not the greatest lol

Maybe in some divisions he is

But not p4p

That’s a big reason why he got schooled by Mayweather (oh yeah Pac fans, I said it, SCHOOLED)

Despite being the harder puncher, the faster puncher

I haven’t had a conversation like this in several, several years

And hey! I’m a Tyson fan myself

I used to wanna be like him mixed with Lomachenko, you know, that textbook POP

So I love him!

But you know…

He lost to all the greats he was supposed to beat

Evander Holyfield…
Lennox Lewis…
Buster Douglas …

Why aren’t those guys the greatest?
Cuz they’re not either lol

Nvm I got more to say I never saw this

Oh no yes it does!

If you lose non stop

You won’t be in the ranks!

Its damn great to be untouched, unbeatable, entirely destructive to all in your path, ruthless with a hint of mercy… And fearless. Supreme might and confidence

Muhammad Ali lost like what, 7 times? (Nope 5 times, just looked it up :grimacing: :older_man: I done forgot!)

But hes the greatest.

Mayweather took fights that made sense to him

Which isn’t great, hes undefeated

Great is taking on every one

That’s why I think Sugar Ray Robinson is greater

He has over 200 fights and his style was impetuous and incredible

Lost the first time to Jake LaMotta (same last name as me kinda)

Beat him 5 times in a row directly after
