When one of her children is threatened, apparently she activates a hidden 99-rated special ability called “NOT MY DAUGHTER.” PlayStyle+
And honestly, Bellatrix probably didn’t expect that level of resistance either. Molly’s emotional motivation completely changed the situation.

Molly raised six sons and a daughter, survived the First Wizarding War, lost both of her brothers to Death Eaters, watched her own children repeatedly put themselves in danger during the Second Wizarding War, and still managed to keep the entire family together.
And then, at the Battle of Hogwarts, when Bellatrix nearly killed Ginny, Molly stepped in and defeated her in a one-on-one duel. The books make it pretty clear that Bellatrix was already fighting Hermione, Ginny and Luna before Molly entered the fight, and Molly then took over and killed her.

Yes, she’s a Gryffindor. Seven children, two wizarding wars, losing family members to Voldemort’s movement, constantly worrying about her children putting themselves in danger, and still standing her ground when things get terrifying. Have we ever actually seen Molly Weasley back down? but it doesn’t necessarily put her in the same overall tier as Dumbledore, Voldemort, Grindelwald, Snape or McGonagall.
Another character underrated in the movies is Filius Flitwick, an excellent dueler

Ah this reminds me a bit of that famous story where the lady could suddenly lift a car to save her child.
I can’t remember now in the book how she defeated her. The movie scene I recall but it wasn’t explained
