When I did shrooms, here is my logic:

  • Safest drugs. People don’t hurt themselves nor others with it. Statistically safer than weed (stats coming from people going to emergency in hospitals).

  • Changes in brain were similar to NDEs. I wanted to get rid of fear of death but most importantly get the psycho-physiological changes (sleep better a nights, more dreams, etc).

  • Obviously it should have helped to open up spiritually.

  • Would have a moment of true communion with myself and help me take decisions that are truly right for me.

  • Consciousness heals the body. I was gambling this but it would have been nice if the trip improved my health in some way. Nonetheless there would be a mental/consciousness upgrade permanent.

So that’s why…I don’t know why people do other stuff. I wouldn’t have done DMT or any other drug. Only psylocibin but it ain’t available so shrooms it was.
