No idea if itās true or not lol. He had some anecdotes from the medieval time period.
One thing that gave him more credibility to me was how he described memoriesāthe stronger the emotion, the stronger the memory.
So one of his strongest emotions (millenia later) was of Jesus. He may have forgotten a few wives, but no way heād forget Jesus lol
I watched a low budget but not bad movie like that on Netflix. Some guy at a dinner party admits that heās a caveman from thousands of years ago and canāt remember most of his life.
Some say John the Apostle is still alive. I doubt it. But it is more or less āloreā that some believe. Because of some obscure thing Jesus said that could be taken to mean John wouldnāt die until the return of Jesus, but he didnāt really say that. They think he hinted at it.
So thereās rumors still of people saying theyāve met him out in a cave or wherever.
There are all kinds of rumors, who knows if any are true?
I tend to doubt anything like that. But who knows. It would be funny if there were some old saint in a cave somewhere who keeps praying us out of nuclear armageddon or apocalypse until one day when they just quit praying and everything goes bad.

Itās not just prizesā¦ itās literally everything; the harmony of Heaven and Earth. Not something where you can grasp large chunks of it and feel satiated. It changes everything in a personās life. --which is why it is a Path and not a bunch of special effects.
But thatās probably me being overly puritanical and dour lol
If you could have the one thing that would make you happiest in this life but not a spiritual goal, like a relationship or wealth etc, but having it means you are eternally 90% as spiritual as you would have been without it. Would you choose to have it in this lifetime. Or would you go without it even if it makes this life 100 times harder?
I may have already made that choiceā¦ Iāve basically avoided romantic relationships because I donāt know of anyone who would accept the way Iād need to live in order to complete the alchemical path lol.
I donāt even know what Iād do in a life like thatā¦ I think Iād prefer the ideal to the real thing lol
That resonates with me more than I can put into words. Some of our choices are like choices we made for ourselves without our consent.
