Reflections on 2025 and a year of abundance

Hey everyone,

First of all a very delayed Merry Christmas :christmas_tree: :gift: and a happy new year :confetti_ball:

As we wrap up 2025 and head into 2026, I wanted to share some uplifting reflections on the year that’s passed. I know it’s ever so easy to get caught up in the challenges, but when we look back, there were so many bright spots that made 2025 a year to celebrate.

Also, knowing that we are constantly bombarded with all sorts of bad news, it’s easy to forget the good ones. Yet it is good news that remind us the world is moving forward in amazing ways. Let’s toast to these moments and carry that positivity momentum into 2026 (where attention goes, energy flows…).

Note the provided info should be accurate, but let me know if you find any issues.

  1. Ocean Protection Milestone: The Global Ocean Treaty finally came into force, marking a huge victory for protecting the high seas. This “landmark victory” paves the way for better marine conservation worldwide. It’s a step toward healthier oceans for generations to come.

  2. Nature’s Comebacks: Species bounced back in inspiring ways! Some animals thought to be on the brink made remarkable recoveries, and deforestation rates fell globally. Plus, the ozone hole continued shrinking, proving that international efforts really pay off.

  3. Health Breakthroughs: Science delivered big time. An Alzheimer’s vaccine showed promise in preventing the disease, and new therapies advanced treatments for multiple sclerosis and other conditions. Gene editing and drug discoveries brought hope to millions, with immense progress in areas like CRISPR technology.

  4. Wins for Kids: Positive outcomes for children included Bolivia banning child marriage and the UK lifting 450,000 kids out of poverty by scrapping the two-child benefit cap. Globally, child mortality kept declining, and more protections were put in place.

  5. Conservation Highlights: Beavers created natural dams where human efforts failed, and the Vatican became the 8th city to go 100% solar-powered. Renewable energy surpassed coal in many places, and wild beavers got a win in biodiversity efforts.

  6. Disease Control Victories: The WHO reported significant strides in eliminating mother-to-child transmission of diseases, and new antibiotics helped combat superbugs. Vaccines without refrigeration needs expanded access in remote areas.

  7. Cultural and Social Joys: Diplomatic pandas returned, symbolizing better international relations, and beloved shows like “Reading Rainbow” made a comeback. The Catholic Church elected the first American pope, bringing fresh perspectives.

  8. Economic and Peace Progress: Countries like Argentina saw their first surplus in years under bold reforms, and peace deals were signed in conflict zones like Rwanda and Congo. Stock markets hit records, and gas prices dropped in many places.

  9. Sports and Community Wins: Blind football championships in South Sudan inspired many, and pioneering work in pediatric ophthalmology advanced eye care for kids. Acts of heroism, like everyday people stepping up in crises, reminded us of human goodness.

  10. Environmental Triumphs: Rivers were revitalized, solar energy surged, and court rulings protected key ecosystems like Raja Ampat, dubbed “The Last Paradise on Earth.”

Consider that these are mostly just highlights. You can find such things in your own life for sure. I know we tend to think if it’s not on the news then it means it isn’t all that important. But in truth, all the growth happens within and there are so many unseen things like kindness, love, trust, loyalty, discipline, respect, etc etc, many people act in such ways that are extremely meaningful and uplifting.

All of this means that the collective is growing towards a path of higher levels of consciousness which allows everyone to expand even further.

And that’s to me really the important thing - that there’s always a beacon of hope shining ever so bright even, or especially in the face of darkness (when life hands you lemons… Make juice!).

This is also the reason why I consider this forum so important, a central hub where people from all walks of life can come together and share their knowledge, wisdom and expertise. In the beginning here I also was shy and thought what the heck do I have to share here…

But that was simply my level of evolution at the time and well, the rest is history. I realized later that by sharing stories, setbacks and successes both, we can find meaning in everything. This is the way for everyone to learn and grow. I find it beautiful.

On that note, cheers to the entire forum. Love you guys. Very grateful to have stumbled upon this corner of the internet years ago.

My deep love and gratitude also to the senseis @Dreamweaver and @SammyG and @Rosechalice and so many others who have helped me in so many ways that I am really beyond finding words to express what should be expressed.

Though i hate to break it down what happens in 2026. Its not a great year at all for economy lmao. Especially mid of the year. Either way i dont see the possibility of casualties than economy and fire burning. Money will be the main issue!

Save money wisely everyone! The storm of money is about to arrive hard.
