Revisiting Teenage Vibrance through Subliminal: A Journey Towards Empathetic Strength and Successful Adulting

Recently, I listened to a subliminal which helped me regain some of the carefree spirit of my teenage years, if only for a day. The experience left me feeling liberated, joyous, and grateful. Incredibly intoxicating actually.

As a 33-year-old, I have experienced significant challenges throughout my life, including a spinal injury at age 11 that led to a reliance on pain medication, and growing up without a nurturing parental figure.

Throughout my adolescence, I struggled with physical pain and emotional difficulties, but I managed to cope relatively well during those years. It wasn’t until later that I realized how formative my childhood and teenage years truly were.

Based on my personal journey, I have come to believe that:

Your youth is often the most vibrant and fulfilling time of your life.
Achieving a meaningful and satisfying adulthood requires intentional effort and preparation.
Those who enjoy a successful and rewarding adulthood tend to have intentionally cultivated the skills and habits necessary to do so.

Now, I am eager to continue exploring with subliminals on how to be the proper adult. Specifically, to help me balance two seemingly contradictory qualities: empathy and strength. By being super humane simultaneously being awesome like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. I believe I can become the best version of myself and thrive as an adult.
