For me, what got me was funding the wallet when I only had fiat and no crypto assets. I needed to get some crypto first before I could exchange that into BNB and in turn SPW. However, the experiecnce of this step, buying crypto from fiat, vary for people living in different jurisdictions. For example, I did not like Binance too much. But for Taiwanese, it was the most accesible and binance verified Taiwnese IDs in just ten minutes, so I still got BNB from binance exchange because it was the quickest for me. But I think there are reports where people said that they stuck at verifications in binance exchange.
Inexistence of a universal procedure from fiat to crypto is one of the obstacles for newcomers. Especially the crypto thing just became popular last year, and most of these exchanges were still budding. But this conumdrum is far out of the capability of this community to address.
If to put what Zen had demonstrated in his video tutorial in words for people who donāt have cyrpto assets yet, I think it would be like:
- Setup your MetaMask Wallet on your browser (do as Zenās video tutorial)
- Add binance smart chain to metamask (do as Zenās video tutorial)
- Buy BNB from your bank account/debitcard/credit card at an exchange thatās easy for you. (This we have to navigate for ourselves. I got BNB directly by buying with debit card. But it appears to me that in other exchanges, you first have to get USDT from bank/card then exchange USDT into BNB.)
- Transfer the BNB you bought to metamask by withdrawl from whatever wallet these BNB were and deposit into your metamask (different wallets have different interfaces, but the task is find āwithdrawl,ā and it should be all the same logic seen in Zenās video tutorial)
- Using pancakeswap to swap BNB into SPW (do as Zenās video tutorial)
- Itās done. But to see SPW in your metamask wallet, you have to import SPW token manually, which is easy. Just copy-paste SPW contract in metamask while you are on BSC Mainnet.
Whenever there are transactions/transfers/swaps (step 3,4,5) , fee would incurr.
