Seaport Jetty Mandala

Small Seaport Jetty at Sunrise

Description (Sapien Medicine Instagram): Take a small trip to somewhere else.

Received some bad news tonight, so decided to rewatch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as a sort of “remedy”. Even the soundtrack worths it. Alexandre Desplat has done a good job.

I have this mandala as my phone’s main screen background, since months (I know Samurai, we shouldn’t use 4658 mandalas at the same time but I count this one as a bonus). I had actually never really questioned to where it was taking me. I don’t know either which place has inspired Dreamweaver for the artwork (maybe it has been discussed somewhere). I was always getting a feeling of familiarity though, whenever looking at it.

I realized this while watching the movie: this mandala definitely reminds me of the scene where Benjamin takes his father to Lake Pontchartrain to make him watch the sunrise + probably other places buried in my mind + one of my dream places for my old days, etc.

But mostly, for me it’s all about what Benjamin says during that scene:

“You can be as mad as a mad dog at the way things went, you can curse the fates, but when it comes to the end, you have to let go.”

Anyway…

Better days ahead! :heart:
In fact so many that the best days haven’t come yet! Behold at the wooden bridge while you chop your days through.

I too have been more strict on the mandalas to use and narrowing them down. Even more so the fields. But since we receive so many triggers from our activities and thoughts might as well have some positive ones, that ensure our own outside refugee is to meet our inner self.

May be that it is taking you where you should go, regardless of not knowing where it is, but acknowledging you’ll get there.
After all… when it comes to the end, you have to let go.”

See you there :wink:

@RisingKundaFest: :heart: So well said…

Actually, I’m outrageously lucky to live nearby places like the one on the mandala. Seeing ancestor dolphins sometimes ;) … and even ancestor whales (it happens occasionally).

But we always want to go beyond the tip of our nose, ignoring that the inner self can be found anywhere.

You can count on me :)
