I’ve been using the Cognitive Enhancement Tag for 1 day. Here are my initial results.
My mental state feels more clear, calm, focused and alert.
My working memory has improved. That’s the ability to hold multiple items of data in your mind at one time. The average for most people is between 3 and 7. Mine has definitely improved. The benefit of this really shows up when you are dealing with complex or new information. Because, staying aware of the real point, or staying aware of what is relevant is a challenge that requires looking at many details and taking away from them one lesson. The point is defined by the whole, one detail emerges from the relationship of many details. But now I’m describing the improved hemispheric connection as well.
Speech has improved. Not that I had an impediment in the first place. That ability to automatically and almost subconsciously (yes, I’m wearing that Tag too) respond to some verbal attack from a creep with just the right subtlety and make just the right point to them, and do it without trying, and without delay, that has improved.
Spatial reasoning may have improved. Yes, it’s funny how many experiences I’ve had in the last day, but it gives me an opportunity to look at what this field may be doing for me. Spatial reasoning: I had an almost very serious accident today. I don’t want to give details on this, but my body did some crazy automatic maneuvering that kept me from getting hurt in any way, I felt pain after but had no injury, muscles were sore and strained, but I could have easily broken something or been cut, I didn’t have a scratch on me. It was seriously mind bending, afterward, contemplating just what my reflexes had done, it was something you could hardly train someone to do, as if some amazing A.I. maneuvered me out of injury. Oh, and I am wearing APE which is supposed to help avoid injury, but CE works on spatial reasoning so who knows.
I think that is about it for now. I’m definitely enjoying how I feel right now, it’s a good difference.
