Hello everybody,
when was the last time you smiled? Today? Yesterday?
Do it now, smile. SMILE now!
Got that done?
How did it feel?
What memories do you associate with smiling? What images come to mind? What feelings flood through you when you smile? Can you capture those? No?
Then SMILE now!
Do you know whats the best kind of smile that I like?
It is that one…an involuntary smile
Smiling as an involuntary reaction to seeing something or someone beautiful
Or something really funny
Or something heartwarming
What do all these have in common?
That’s right…you feel relief, relaxed and released
What if we direct this smile inwardly and apply it where needed?
Thanks to @Rosechalice for walking me through the inner smiling steps
The application goes as follows:
- You notice an inner resistance / blockage / anxiety
- You identify the corresponding area within your body
- You close your eyes ideally, but not necessarily
- You smile
- You direct this smiling sensation to the area of resistance
- (Optional) I like to add gratitude here as well
- Stay smiling at the area until you notice it become smaller or move somewhere else
- Repeat the steps for the new area or newly arising resistances
Perhaps you recognise the inner smile from such NFTs as Immutable Happiness or Rainmaker Redux. This is nothing new, yet very profound.
Try it when you have a moment. It doesn’t take long.
It really helped me. I use it here and there, whenever I need it.
