As far as the kind of self esteem or even self respect boost I noticed from Lion, I can’t say I noticed it with the sigil. It did make me behave in a more in-charge way. And more sociably. I just kept feeling like making small talk with people would be a fun thing to do, so I kept doing it. It didn’t “make” me do it of course, but it made me far more inclined to do it.
