I wanted to pose a question that has been bothering me and my conscience and it has to do with subliminals, morphics and anything that includes changing reality like affirmation, manifestation, SATs, Revision, etc.
I think I know the answer to this, however I also want to know what others think. For me, I have mostly been focused on developing myself physically using fields and have seen differing levels of success. I however have been tempted to use manifestation methods to change others in my reality, and I have felt deep down that this is not something that is good, and messes with their free will, however not all the cases I feel this way.
For example, if I were to use subliminal affirmations or SATs for example to heal my romantic partner from a medical condition that is bothering them, would this be messing with free will and be an immoral activity even if it helps them. I don’t feel as bad in my conscience with doing this.
However, if I wanted to change a physical or emotional characteristic about someone else in the same way by changing my beliefs about them with subliminals or visualization, I feel guilty and bad for doing so and it feels wrong. In this case, the change is not something I would know if they would approve of or if they would dislike.
Is it always the case that it is wrong to use methods such as these to change others, and is it only wise to focus on changing myself instead, as I feel no guilt and shame focusing on myself, as I am not messing with others’ free will. Only when I consider the option to change others in my reality if it messes with their body, mind, life or faculties, does it become a problem.
Would it be better for me to focus on me being happy in my reality without considering changing others and to focus on myself? I feel like there are times other people on this forum and online do mess with the free will of others with these same methods, but do not intentionally do so selfishly or with considering the morality of it.
Ok forgive me. I start off kinda harsh-seeming but it wasn’t my intention. This is what life is all about. Know that I have love and compassion for you and realize my answer mellows out more at the end.
So, it’s not an easy answer but why are you asking us? Everyone is going to have an opinion. The question is, can you make up your own mind? What about after you let go of feeling bad about the whole thing. The basis of the whole question is “Who are you and why are you here (in embodiment)?”
This is the path, and ultimately we have to decide. If you know about SATS then you know about Neville and you know what he said and did. But still, he’s not you.
Each one of us made up our minds or listened to someone else or actually spout someone else’s ideas about your questions. Does that make them right for you or your path?
The cool thing is, you get to decide. The answers come from within you, but even that said, the less stuff that is in the way, the better answer you will receive for you. So try whatever your best method of letting go is - exercise, meditation, fields, etc.
You have had experiences that none of us have had. That makes you unique. The only thing I can think of is being the clearest receiver you can be. When our identities change our beliefs and practices change. The “you” that is unsure of how to proceed now will be a different “you” when you let go of fears and other people’s beliefs and accept that there’s not just one answer for every concern. But, in my opinion ) the best answers come from within.
Yes, you can listen to us, and maybe it will give you a lightbulb moment and you will gain insight. Pretend you are someone else and read your questions. Does that change the pattern?
Blessings to you. I am glad that you are where you are on your path. Wanting the best for others is a very lovely desire.
Well, on a daily basis you imagine (you want it consciously or not) that they have a medical condition, does it mean that you’re messing with their free will and making them experience the illness?
The way I see it is, things play out because we’re kinda “benefiting” from them. (Not saying it’s your case). For example, we wanna be the person always looking out after someone.(I’m not saying this is your case). There are might be many reasons why we want this role. Anyhow, then we choose ill people or they will eventually get ill when they’re with us. So that we can continue this role of caretaker/victim etc etc(many roles).
Later when we actually address our beliefs and stuff, we’ll find out such a thing exists and release it. Release the need to be a caretaker. And then suddenly they will also get well…
Does it mean we messed with their free will?..
To me, it doesn’t seem like that.
And when I will start to make conscious effort to see them healthy for example, some things might resurface. I might have difficulties doing that cause maybe it served a purpose. And then we address it and release.
So either way it seems like something about me rather than them…
I’m not saying it’s always like that. There are things in my life I’m not “benefiting” from no matter from what angle I look at it. In this case, maybe it’s just a subconscious belief that everything just can’t be always perfect. Or I can’t have this and that and even that and even etc etc. And when I wanna imagine having it, again, I will stumble upon this belief. And then I have no other choice but to release it.
I think it’s very caring of you to consider this question. From a human level, it may appear you are messing with someone’s free will. But remember everybody has a higher self. So independent from you feeling good or bad about helping someone, your and their higher self see the bigger picture and will guide the way (for example: you giving healing, and they accepting or rejecting it). The higher selves know better.
Of course we want everyone to be happy, healthy, wise, etc. When you cut your finger, your body gets to work to heal you. Is the body messing with your free will? Probably not right, since the natural tendency is towards health.
Also remember we are all connected. There’s an interplay between us at all times. But it’s not really interplay but just play. We are always connected but live in this perfect illusion of separateness which makes us ponder such questions in the first place.
These are interesting and worthwhile things to think about.
I’ve seen quite a few different things over the years of having some involvement in spiritual and paranormal communities. In that time, I’ve seen a lot of questionable things lol.
For myself, I tend to work in reference to two main points. One is the natural sense of jurisdiction or authority, and the other is the character of what my actions promote.
So those might sound like lofty terms, but when I say jurisdiction or authority, I am meaning a range of things that I am responsible for. For myself, I tend to be solitary, so I am responsible for myself foremost. From there, Family, coworkers, acquaintances, and even strangers are also people that I can be more or less responsible for (depending on the situation).
Since I am myself, I can and should take charge of every instance of my life. But for everyone else, I tend to let them do their own thing. I’ll step in if it’s asked for or if a situation can benefit and the circumstances make sense.
But the point of benefiting a situation leads me to the other half of considerations–the Character of what my actions promote. I like to try to understand things in accord with the layers of structure that exist and define them. So, even for simple things like choosing what to eat, I try to find something that will actually be good for health and matching to biology and chemistry. And so, a lot of my decision making has a constantly evolving sort of feedback that drives towards finding the greatest good on a practical basis.
In that way, I try to create a coherent sense of harmony for myself on all levels and have it naturally extend to others.
But, in the years of seeing other people who have learned to manipulate energy, a lot of room for variation exists lol. And, for better or worse, karma is not always (or even usually) an instantaneous thing. I’ve met someone who had used their own psychic and energetic abilities to molest people on another forum. He formed his own community and hasn’t changed his ways.
I’ve met other people who think that they can have a free-for-all since most people can’t perceive energetic phenomena in any detail. Some are actual con men who use energy and apparent charisma to make sales. Others make a business with selling spellwork and rituals so people can manipulate individuals for personal gain, splitting up marriages, etc.
There’s a whole range of unscrupulous stuff out there lol.
It was shocking to learn about, since I had only learned to perceive these things through meditating, qigong, and asceticism lol.
So, I think my standard is probably more restrictive than what most would adhere to. For example, in my view, if someone overly seeks gratification in life and depletes their dopamine and feels depression, then I would say that is life giving them a message to change how they’re living. I would probably just let them live with that until they get a motivation to change. But we have specific dopamine receptor regeneration fields here. Perhaps that’s more compassionate, or maybe it prevents people from resolving a deeper root issue. I don’t know.
But there’s a lot of variation out there.
Even though Karma might not be instantaneous, I think that it has a fairly clear mechanism. The patterns of our thoughts and actions create different orbits in the energy that we’re made of. And, over time, our actions come to define what we are, how we are, and what our lives turn into.
So, taking an impartial view of the situation and seeing yourself alongside others, if you can accept your action and it’s results (whether for better or for worse), then that’s the best anyone can do.
That being said, if you couldn’t influence people without having fields or subliminals in the past, I am inclined to think that you shouldn’t need to mess with them now that you have fields and subliminals.
If anyone is ill his natural desire to get healed soo you didn’t violated anyone free will by healing, by healing what you did is help them and thats why you didn’t felt any bad. If you violate anyone free will there will be bad Consequences for example every soul natural desire is of happiness wheather its born as insect or god soo if you will try to cause them unhappiness that would be violating their free will. See free will is a illusion but soo is the world and illusion works in illusion, just like the gravity is illusion but if you would jump from a building you will get the Consequences of bad choice. Every being desire welfare of themselves so you desire the welfare of others and by this way you will never violate anyone’s free will.
Thank you Rosechalice. I appreciate the advice. I have done some thinking and realize that for me, the belief that if what I am manifesting is in the best interest of all, it will manifest, and if not, it will not. I want to keep a boundary to prevent negative karma and guilt and I think this will help.
