Hi,

Yes I know we have a gratitude thread.
Think of this thread more like an anti-venting thread.
The “challenge” is this:

Review your day and identify one good thing that happened to you. Can be as complex or as simple as you want it to be. Just one thing. And come back tomorrow to post. And the day after. And so on, and so on…

The interesting part is when you had a truly shitty day and you have to search for sth good within it. (Hint: this exercises the gratitude muscle greatly).

I can start:
I had a really lovely Japanese ramen :ramen: today with fried chicken :poultry_leg: on the side which had so much pepper on it that it numbed my mouth.

I’m ordinarly great, it happened that both me and my uncle we have a free day so we are at his house drinking wine and playing Civilization 6.

Nothing fancy but It feels comfortably great

A local Red wine my uncle got from a farmer, nothing too fancy but it taste genuine, grape should be Sangiovese

Today, August 15, the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption, I ate

  • Appetizer with raw ham and melon first, bresaola and coppa after.
  • Tagliatelle with tomato sauce, made from tomatoes from my mother-in-law’s garden
  • Mozzarella and tomatoes (Caprese)
  • Semi-artisan pistachio ice cream
  • Homemade semi-cold cake, cream, strawberries and grapes
  • Coffee

All washed down with an excellent Prosecco DOC Treviso

There are some nasty wildfires going on and so the air’s quite smoky, so I went to buy an air purifier and I got a good deal on one.

There was an error or something at the Bank a lot of people didnt get their salary transfer everybody was mad etc.

I got some yesterday and the rest like at 1pm

People is still waiting

Their bonus didnt show up in the salary slip

I got mine

I feel bad but in fact this always happens every 2 weeks majority get it between 6 and 10pm

I usually get mine the day before
