Actually curious about what Captain has put in there.
For those interested to become great at Sales, great books to start with are:
- How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie | Goodreads (while playing the long term ethical game)
- Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill | Goodreads (classic)
- The Challenger Sale: Taking Control of the Customer Conversation by Matthew Dixon | Goodreads (breaking off the belief about lone wolves being the best)
- Anything good about emotional intelligence
- Lot of LinkedIn courses on cold calling, closing, powerful tools, etc.
Ps:
- Don’t fall into the trap of over-automation and feeding more garbages to prospects, no one has time for that. Always go for quality over quantity
(most sales don’t do cold calling anymore, if done right, this is a massive differentiator - treat it as a game and it becomes fun). - The best sales is when you actually are of service to your customer and he trusts so much your skills & ethic, he is happy to pay more for your product (then becomes your best marketer).
