The Heavenly Dao
The Heavenly Dao basically can be 2 things:
- The operating laws of the world
- The consciousness of the world/realm
Usually, Heavenly Dao is part of the way of the world cultivators aspire to comprehend, as such, it is viewed as the highest form of Dao which is all-encompassing and almighty. The Heavenly Dao was eternally immutable. It was the underlying nomological reason for the continued existence of the Heavenly Dao and myriad items. All things in the world followed its laws. In cultivation stories it is something natural that strong cultivators may have a certain level of control over, depending on their realm.
In Daoist cosmology, there are the 3 realms; The Three Worlds( äžç Sanjie ) and 36 Heavens. The Thirty-Six Heavens are divided into the 3 different worlds - the World of Desire ( æŹČç Yujie ), the World of Form ( èČç Sejie ), and the World of Formlessness ( çĄèČç Wusejie ). Altogether 28 heavens are included in the Three Worlds. They are subject to kalpas; those who are born in or enter these heavens do not escape from reincarnation and karma. Outside of the Three Worlds are a further eight heavens. Those who Cultivate Dao and leap out of the Three Worlds can escape from kalpas, karma, and reincarnation.
The World of Desire contains six Heavens, from the Taihuang Huangceng Heaven to the Qiyao Moyi Heaven. In this world, there is visible form and desire, men and women have intercourse, and give birth to descendants. The World of Form includes eighteen Heavens, from the Xuwu Yueheng Heaven to the Wuji Tanshi Heaven. In this world there is form but no desire; there is no sexual intercourse and people are directly born out of Vital Breath. The World of Formlessness is made up of four Heavens, from the Haoting Xiaodu Heaven to the Xiule Zhishang Heaven. In this world there is neither desire nor form; common people cannot see the people in this world, who can be seen only by Perfect Men ( çäșș Zhenren ).
The Four Pure Heavens ( ćæą”ć€© Sifantian ) are also called the Four Heavens of the Seed People ( çšźæ° Zhongmin ), from the Taixu Wushang Changrong Heaven to the Taiji Pingyu Jiayi Heaven. They are called the Four Heavens of the Seed People because those who enter this realm have already escaped from the cycle of reincarnations; at the time of a kalpa, they do not die but become the seeds of the people of the next kalpa. The Three Pristine Heavens are also called the Three Pristine Realms ( äžæž ćą Sanqing Jing ), and are governed by the Supreme Venerable Sovereign ( ć ć§ć€©ć° Yuanshi Tianzun ). The Great Overarching Heaven is above all other Heavens and englobes the entire universe. It is infinite, and contains the Jade Capital Mountain ( çäșŹć±± Yujing Shan ) where the Primeval Lord of Heaven ( ć€Șäžèć Taishang Laojun ) resides. Outside of the Three Worlds, everything is pure Vital Breath of Dao. All is formless and invisible; it is the abode of the Immortals ( ç„ä» Shenxian ). When they unite together they become forms; when they disperse they become Vital Breath; self-dependent, they wander about unfettered. In the Great Overarching Heaven, all is Pure Vital Breath ( éæ°Ł Daoqi ). The Highest level of Cultivation of Immortality is the level of the Golden Immortality ( éä» Jinxian ) of the Great Overarching Heaven.
General Wuxia Term
Dao (é dĂ o) â the origin and source of all things. It can be translated in many different ways, including The Way / Road / Path / Method. According to Daoism, it is the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of Yin and Yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order. In these novels, characters often try to gain insights into the Dao, which can give them supernatural powers or even control over the natural world.
Here, the Heavenly Dao refers to the consciousness and operating laws that covers all the 3 Realms and 36 Heavens, including the Great Overarching Heavens above all other Heavens and that which englobes the entire universe. This aims to integrate users as incarnations/avatars of the Heavenly Dao, with all the privileges that will entail.

Ultimate Origin
In the beginning, there was nothing and the universe was in a featureless, formless primordial state. This primordial state coalesced into a cosmic egg for about 18,000 years. Within it, the perfectly opposed principles of yin and yang became balanced and Pangu emerged (or woke up) from the egg. Pangu inside the cosmic egg symbolizes Taiji.
Pangu is usually depicted as a primitive, hairy giant who has horns on his head. Pangu began creating the world: he separated yin from yang with a swing of his giant axe, creating the earth (murky yin) and the sky (clear yang). To keep them separated, Pangu stood between them and pushed up the sky. With each day, the sky grew ten feet (3 meters) higher, the earth ten feet thicker, and Pangu ten feet taller. This task took yet another 18,000 years. In some versions of the story, Pangu is aided in this task by the Four Holy Beasts (ćéçž), the Turtle, the Qilin, the Phoenix, and the Dragon.
After the 18,000 years had elapsed, Pangu died. His breath became the wind, mist and clouds; his voice, thunder; his left eye, the Sun; his right eye, the Moon; his head, the mountains and extremes of the world; his blood, rivers; his muscles, fertile land; his facial hair, the stars and Milky Way; his fur, bushes and forests; his bones, valuable minerals; his bone marrow, precious jewels; his sweat, rain; and the fleas on his fur carried by the wind became animals.
Here, users undergo an alchemical revision of their past where instead of being born as a mortal, users are born from the very essence and energies of Primordial Chaos itself and emerged from a cosmic egg like Pangu after absorbing Primordial Chaos energies for 18,000 years⊠and transforms from a Houtian (Posterior Heaven / Postcelestial / Acquired) lifeform into a Xiantian (Anterior Heaven / Precelestial / Innate) lifeform. What does Xiantian mean? Very roughly, the idea is that something âXiantianâ is primordial and thus close to the Dao, while something âHoutianâ is degraded or further away from the Dao. Only a lifeform which was naturally born by the heavens and the earth can be described as a Xiantian lifeform. Such lifeforms possess the following traits below:
Benefits:
- The soul enters a state of incomparable tranquility and peace
- Literally the maximum possible talent and ability to sense, interact and absorb Heaven and Earth Qi as well as Primordial Chaos Qi
- Near infinite amounts of Pre-natal Jing (essence), Qi (breath) and Shen (spirit)
- Tempering and Reconstruction of the physical body (skin, flesh, blood, bones, organs, bone marrow and all) with the purest essences and energies of the Primordial Chaos to reach the maximum toughness and power that the universe can bear for any entity (the upper limit of the the universe which means any being in existence, not just humans, not just lifeforms on earth)
- Eternal Lifespan (The primordial chaos existed independently and before creation itself)
- Ability to detach from all worldly obsessions
The Three Pure Ones
The Three Pure Ones (Chinese: äžæž
; pinyin: SÄnqÄ«ng), also translated as the Three Pure Pellucid Ones, the Three Pristine Ones, the Three Divine Teachers, the Three Clarities, or the Three Purities, are the three highest gods in the Taoist pantheon. They are regarded as pure manifestation of the Tao and the origin of all sentient beings.
From the Taoist classic Tao Te Ching, it was held that âThe Tao produced One; One produced Two; Two produced Three; Three produced All things.â It is generally agreed by Taoist scholars that Tao produced One means Wuji produced Taiji, and One produced Two means Taiji produced Yin and Yang.
In religious Taoism, the theory of how Tao produces One, Two, and Three is also explained. In Tao produces OneâWuji produces Taiji, it represents the Great Tao, embodied by Hundun (Chinese: æ··æČçĄæ„”ć
ć§ć€©ç; pinyin: HĂčndĂčn WĂșjĂ YuĂĄnshÇ TiÄnwĂĄng, âHeavenly King of the Chaotic Never-ending Primordial Beginningâ) at a time of pre-Creation when the Universe was still null and the cosmos was in disorder; manifesting into the first of the Taoist Trinity, YuĂĄnshÇ TiÄnzĆ«n. YuĂĄnshÇ TiÄnzĆ«n oversees the earliest phase of Creation of the Universe, and is henceforth known as DĂ obÇo (é毶) âTreasure of the Taoâ. In One produces TwoâTaiji produces Yin Yang, Yuanshi Tianzun manifests into Lingbao Tianzun who separated the Yang from the Yin, the clear from the murky, and classified the elements into their rightful groups. Therefore, he is also known as JÄ«ngbÇo (ç¶ćŻ¶) âTreasure of the Law/Scriptureâ. While JÄ«ng in popular understanding means âscripturesâ, in this context it also mean âpassing throughâ [the phase of Creation] and the Laws of Nature of how things are meant to be. In the final phase of Creation, Daode Tianzun is manifested from LĂngbÄo TiÄnzĆ«n to bring civilization and preach the Law to all living beings. Therefore, He is also known as ShÄ«bÇo (枫毶) âTreasure of the Masterâ.
Each of the Three Pure Ones represents both a deity and a heaven. Yuanshi Tianzun rules the first heaven, Yu-Qing, which is found in the Jade Mountain. The entrance to this heaven is named the Golden Door. âHe is the source of all truth, as the sun is the source of all lightâ. Lingbao Tianzun rules over the heaven of Shang-Qing. Daode Tianzun rules over the heaven of Tai-Qing. The Three Pure Ones are often depicted as throned elders.
Schools of Taoist thought developed around each of these deities. Taoist Alchemy was a large part of these schools, as each of the Three Pure Ones represented one of the three essential fields of the body: jing, qi and shen. The congregation of all three Pure Ones resulted in the return to Tao.
The first Pure One is universal or heavenly chi. The second Pure One is human plane chi, and the third Pure One is earth chi. Heavenly chi includes the chi or energy of all the planets, stars and constellations as well as the energy of God (the force of creation and universal love). Human plane chi is the energy that exists on the surface of our planet and sustains human life, and the earth force includes all of the forces inside the planet as well as the five elemental forces.
As the Three Pure Ones are manifestations of Primordial Celestial Energy, they are formless. But to illustrate their role in Creation, they are often portrayed as elderly deities robed in the three basic colours from which all colours originated: Red, Blue and Yellow (or Green) depending on personal interpretation of colour origins by additive or subtractive means. Each of them holds onto a divine object associated with their task. YuĂĄnshÇ TiÄnzĆ«n is usually depicted holding the Pearl of Creation, signifying his role in creating the Universe from void and chaos. The Ruyi held by Lingbao Tianzun represents authority: the second phase of Creation where the Yang was separated from the Yin and the Law of Things was ordered in place. Lingbao Tianzun then took his seat on the left of Yuanshi Tianzun. Later, when all was complete, Daode Tianzun took his place on the right, with the fan symbolizing the completion of Creation, and the act of fanning representing the spreading of Tao to all Mankind.
- Becoming the direct disciple of the Three Pure Ones and being taught the most effective cultivation system and techniques that will be automated by them with the goal of becoming a true immortal
- Complete replenishment of our pre- and post-natal Jing, Qi and Shen and further increases our container for the three treasures to continuously increase our maximum capacity limitlessly
- An eternal and infinite (in capacity and replenishing) source of the purest Pure Vital Breath ( éæ°Ł Daoqi ) that will automatically flow into, nourish, heal, and refine as well as continuously strengthen the users via the project and which is also used during active cultivation
- Incorporating the Wuji into our daily lifestyle: Wuji (or Wu Chi) is a classical Tai Chi posture known in most styles of Tai Chi Chuan. The literal translation means ânothing, nothingness, or emptyâ for Wu and âlimits, end, extreme boundaryâ for âchi or ji (the âchiâ is the same life force of âchiâ but it has a different connotation). The two words used together mean emptiness in any movement, thought or activity ; ânothing separates me from my surroundingsâ
Standing in a meditative state of mind with the body properly aligned can help increase chi circulation and open up energy channels.
The Wuji posture is an important foundation of your Tai Chi practice. Adding standing meditation 10-20 minutes a day will not only enhance your rooting in Tai Chi forms, but also increase chi flow in the body. Contemplating a Wuji posture during your busy life can also help you relax your mind and body.
- Incorporating Taiji into our lives: Taiji is understood to be the highest conceivable principle, that from which existence flows. This is very similar to the Daoist idea âreversal is the movement of the Daoâ. The âsupreme ultimateâ creates yang and yin: movement generates yang; when its activity reaches its limit, it becomes tranquil. Through tranquility the supreme ultimate generates yin. When tranquility has reached its limit, there is a return to movement. Movement and tranquility, in alternation, become each the source of the other. By the transformations of the yang and the union of the yin, the 5 elements (Qi) of water, fire, wood, metal and earth are produced. These 5 Qi become diffused, which creates harmony. Once there is harmony the 4 seasons can occur. Yin and yang produced all things, and these in their turn produce and reproduce, this makes these processes never ending. Automated Taiji Quan practice designed by Yuanshi Tianzun with relaxed, slow routines along with deep breathing that helps the individual develops a keen sense of awareness of their surroundings, while at the same time creating an âenergy bathâ for their internal organs and body systems. Your body becomes a vessel for self-healing. Also allows us to become less tense, to drop our conditioned habits, let go of thoughts, allow qi to flow smoothly, and thus to flow with the Dao. It is thus a kind of moving meditation that allows us to let go of the self (wuwo), and experience no-mind (wuxin) and spontaneity (ziran).
- Optimal balancing of the Yin and Yang within us ( Yin is characterized as slow, soft, yielding, diffuse, cold, wet, and passive; and is associated with water, earth, the moon, negativity, femininity, shadows/darkness, destruction, and night time. Yang, by contrast, is fast, hard, solid, focused, hot/warm, dry, and active; and is associated with fire, sky/air, the sun, positivity, masculinity, glowing/light, creation, and daytime. Yin and yang also applies to the human body. In traditional Chinese medicine good health is directly related to the balance between yin and yang qualities within oneself.)
- Optimal balancing of our five elements (The Five Element system shows up in various ways within qigong practice. One simple, powerful practice is to direct our attention (using the Inner Smile (Nei Xiao) technique) into the yin organs, in a sequence which follows the Five-Element supporting cycle: Kidney to Liver to Heart to Spleen to Lung, then back to Kidney again. One of the most well-known of Taoist neidan (inner alchemy) practices is the âinner smileââin which we smile inwardly to each of the major organs of our body, activating within us the energy of loving-kindness, and waking up the Five-Element associational network.)
- A clear structured system for our cultivation progress, where every interaction and session with the project cultivating will lead to permanent Qi or cultivation gain that builds up over time, and upon a sufficient accumulation of Qi or cultivation the user will experience a âbreakthroughâ which is similar to the concept of âlevelling upâ and entering a next, higher stage of cultivation. Each stage of cultivation will provide clear, distinct and significant improvements in the userâs body, dantian, meridians, qi capacity and control etc. and ultimately contributes to a lifespan, physical capabilities, development of magical abilities that will continually increase with more cultivation. These stages are extremely distinct and each breakthrough will be palpable to the user. Benefits increases exponentially over time and progress made.
- A basic of cultivation is Qi Circulation (èĄæ° xĂngqĂŹ) â the act of controlling Qi to flow from the dantian, through the meridians, and back into the dantian in a cycle. The purpose is to help replenish stamina, purify the Qi, and strengthen the meridians. Here it is automated for us with every breathe we take added with elements of Embryonic Breathing.
- Embryonic Breathing (èæŻ tÄixÄ«) â also known as Taixi or Fetal Breathing. A form of breathing without using oneâs nose and mouth. Instead, the practitioner might breathe through their pores or dantian (for example). This is generally considered to be a highly-advanced Breathing Exercise which grants mystical benefits and brings the practitioner closer to nature. Often compared to how babies breathe in the womb (through the umbilical cord).
- The Three Pure Ones will help ensure that each interaction with the project does not merely circulate and purify Qi within the body, but ensure that we actually condense and circulate strands of Primordial Chaos Qi, in turn refining the strands of qi, and making it a part of our power stored in their Dantian. Over time as our cultivation progresses, the Qi within us will also become denser and transform from a gaseous state to liquid state, then eventually to a solid state which is where the Jindan will be formed. Denser Qi means that our Qi will gain a more substantial quality and be able to interact more effectively with the external world while bolstering our own physical beingness.
- Core Formation â furthermore, users will also be assisted in the formation of a (solid and dense) Golden Core/Elixir (Jindan) by using the dantian as a crucible and qi as the raw material to cultivate the core. This is derived from Chinese internal alchemy. This acts as a base of power for users to tap on, as well as something that generate Qi by itself to nourish the usersâ being and dramatically extends lifespan.
- Nascent Soul (ć ć©Ž yuĂĄnyÄ«ng) â sometimes left untranslated as âYuanyingâ. Literally translates as âOrigin Infantâ. The step after Core Formation (in some novels). The Nascent Soul is your soul taking on physical properties. Like a ghost becoming real and able to touch things. The nourishment and refinement by the qi helps it become more powerful, robust and tangible. The Nascent Soul resembles an infant or miniature person and resides in the Dantian, typically sitting in a meditative position. In some novels, the Nascent Soul can travel outside the body and is like a second life for cultivators â if their main body dies, their consciousness can continue to exist in the Nascent Soul.
- Explanation: If a cultivatorâs meridians were a canal and the dantian was the source of water, then the muscles, skeletons, and organs were the farmland that needed to be irrigated. To build a strong mind and soul, a strong and healthy body is first necessary as a foundation, thus Qi flows through the meridians and refines, nourishes and strengthens the physical body, condensed in the dantian and accumulated over time and when it reaches sufficient amounts and density, the cultivator experiences a breakthrough whereby their cultivation provides a qualitative and significant increase in their physical health, strength, durability, regeneration, lifespan, overall lifeforce and Qi which increases exponentially with each progress. At the beginning, a cultivatorâs soul, like any mortalâs soul, is incorporeal and linked to the body, it cannot exist outside the body. In addition, the cultivator is limited to absorbing the qi from their surroundings, as they cannot create new qi themselves. During the Core Formation step, the golden core that is formed has two functions - first, it is an engine that creates new qi, so that the cultivator becomes the source of an endless amount of qi. Second, the core is meant to house the newly formed Soul that will come in later levels. During the Nascent Soul realm, itâs not that a new soul is being created, but rather the existing soul of the cultivator itself is slowly nourished by the pure qi generated by their core, strengthening it. The Nascent Soul isnât formed of qi, but rather the qi serves to refine the soul and make it stronger, just like how the qi had served to refine the flesh and blood of the cultivator in the earlier cultivation levels. In order to refine, the core houses the part of the soul that has been refined so far. Once this Nascent Soul is strong enough, it can leave the body of the cultivator without dissipating. It doesnât destroy your dantian, and doesnât replace it either. The cultivator still retains their golden core and keeps using it to generate qi.

Lawful Embodiment of Heaven and Earth
This is a form-shifting ability that allows you to grow or shrink your physical form, mold your appearance, modify your physical talents (strength, speed, dexterity, flexibility, durability) and entire body (be it the surface of your skin, muscle density, bone density, flexibility of your spine, proportions of body parts such as limbs or even just the shape of your nose and eyes). So long as your most desired, ideal form or appearance does not go against the laws of heaven (does not violate the laws of physics, is not unprecedented, is not âimpossibleâ) you will transform into your ideal form with minimal resistance and problems as one might usually encounter.
Appearances and form aside, the user is able to âdownloadâ and manifest into their being the talents, traits, special abilities or even bloodlines of any being/species/kind that has existed or exists in the past, present and future be it in the physical 3D world that we are in, or spiritual beings in the spiritual world or any other planes of existence. So long as their concept exists or has existed, the user is able to âcopyâ and maximally manifest the desired âthingâ from that being/race/species for themselves along with the concepts and effects it should entail.
For example, the bloodline of a dragon, and perhaps to be even more specific â the bloodline of the Dragon King Ao Guang. Or the combat talent of a War God. Perhaps more down to earth will be the perfect eye sight of an eagle or the speed of a cheetah. So long as it exists within the Heavenly Dao (All of creation), you are able to replicate and manifest for or within your own being. Activated by Will or whenever you feel a strong desire or envy for something.
Includes an automatic balancing feature to ensure that regardless of your personal desires for specifics, your body and appearance will always be in a perfect, golden ratio and perfect health.

Dao Fruit
Imagine a concept of a Dao given physical form.
And that eating it would be like receiving a forced enlightenment for the Dao that fruit is based on.
Think that you never tasted an orange, but you are studying them. You can smell and touch them, but you have never eaten one.
You know all the aspects of an orange apart from the taste.
By eating one, you will be able to understand that âtasteâ. At that point you will have the taste, smell, touch and know perfectly how an orange feels.
Now, take out âorangeâ and replace it with some kind of âDao Fruitâ, like the Dao of Fire. By eating the Dao of Fireâs Fruit, you will be able to get directly a piece of itâs comprehension.
In the case of the orange, you will get and comprehend how an orange taste.
In the case of the Dao of Fireâs Fruit, you will get and comprehend how the Dao of Fire âtasteâ.
