I was not part of the Astral Walkie Talkie group, but it appears that it focused on getting the users to have a greater level of awareness and interface with the astral level of reality. In order to accomplish this, it appears that it had a few fields for improving the energy body and promoting more psychic development. It also had some utilities available for helping the NFT owner to create fields and servitors, to connect with different beings, etc.
This project (The Light of mages) got started as an item maker project. If you wanted, you could buy an actual physical wand or staff (or something less obvious) and you could use the item maker function on it to turn the item into a Magic Wand.
It has a handful of different fields that can interface with your mind and energy and, now that I look at it, it can actually do quite a few things that the astral walkie talkie does (e.g. develop the energy body, help you connect with different beings and things, give you insight into how morphic fields work and how reality works energetically, etc.).
The overall project, however, is a servitor. It is like a superintelligent light (similar to the Arc Light) in that it can perform just about any type of energetic/morphic function. However, it has additional specifications that can allow you to build and develop more complex energy structures and store them so that they can be re-accessed and used in different ways.

I guess a key difference is that this project lets you make a powerful object (and there’s a bit of a learning curve with how to use it) but it’s basically a self-contained system for building and developing fields/servitors and your own capabilities.
