Just wanted to add. Like anything Luck is based on science.
There are 2 “non-personal” cycles that are determined by our position to the galactic center (forget the name of this cycle) and everyone has a 23-hour cycle of “luckiness”
And then there’s the 18-day cycle that everyone goes through based on when they were born, that follows the flow of energies through one’s energy centers.
So as from my extensive research*, the luck seems to turn “on and off”, depending on this cycles and, of course, a range of other fields like one’s current mood/emotions.
For example, people who played with me regularly would notice when I would start to get very irritated (ie strong emotion of anger) about something and would declare me “going into beast mode” as the luck “turned on” and I would win nearly every single hand/pot over the course of 10-20 mins or so.
So the luck fields will extend these cycles, or boost the luck during cycles and/or mitigate the “bad luck” during the low parts of these cycles.
