The Manhattan Method

Based on 37 neuroimaging studies, Jung and Haier (2007) put forward that in particular the structure of frontal Brodmann areas 10, 45–47, parietal areas 39 and 40, and temporal area 21 (positively contribute to IQ scores) (Jung and Haier, 2007).

You’re literally feeling some increase in IQ there, lol.

Pair reading with touch typing :slightly_smiling_face:, set a fun goal like 800 characters per minute and start with typelit.io

You should definitely read books, pick a subject you like or think about

I don’t know what you expect. There’s probably a list of options depending on your settings.

:sparkles: What a fun recommendation! Oddly enough, I’d been looking for something similar within the last week or so and here it is just popping up in a thread! I am beyond charmed! Thank you! :sparkling_heart:

Been using this field since about 2 months, no real change, maybe it don’t see it but there is, I don’t know. I think it’s time to increase the listening time by a lot lol

@Rorelo
You have to tell us more, how many times you listen and what’s your stack ?

I used it on and off, whenever I wanted/had the time, with pauses but not longer than 3-4 days. Other brain fields where SPG, sometimes Adhd, and sometimes some dopamine fields. I just listened considering my need at the present moment.
When I listened to it, it was never less than 3 times.

For me, I’ve been looping this field along with brain key during my sleep and for hours everyday. Been doing this for the past 6 weeks and before that I’d listen 10x a day after using brain key. How can I tell if I’ve truly gotten smarter? It’s hard to really notice changes, especially when it comes to brain fields like this

Sorry, I confused the threads, I have a notification from the math thread too

You never noticed your thoughts improving or your studying improved ?

I don’t think that sporadic listening will lead to the change you were expecting. Perhaps you could specify what you were aiming for in order to hone and direct your use of the field to that outcome?

I’ll be taking calc this fall during college. Hopefully I’ll be able to see if it becomes easy lol.

I did have a college Algebra class this summer, but it was pretty easy though so I don’t think I could notice the intelligence gains really.

I think that’s it.
Not everyone is super introspective and notices every changes, max the listening time especially if you don’t have brain key etc.
And it will be more noticeable

Yeah probably, I was just trying to detach a bit from monotonous listening regime. My goal is to become a mastermind beast, and most importantly a math beast by being able to understand every concept in depth, be able to link those concept and see how they tie together in order to see the big picture/under the stake of a given problem in order to solve it perfectly with mathematics rigor.

Nice summation! :muscle:

It’s really hard for me to notice this tbh. As for the studying, I never really studied during the summer because my class was pretty easy and I didn’t need to study for it. So I haven’t really seen what the field does when paired with studying.

In regards to improved thinking, the only thing I can say for sure is that when I think of something or a concept, I can perceive other factors that might play a cause into the subject that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to notice. And I can also a bit more patterns. Aside from that, I really can’t tell what the field is doing

Well, if you guys don’t know your limits because you only do easy stuff, then you’re not gonna notice changes.

All the people who shared cool reviews talked about “I couldn’t do this, now I can do it” they have been pushing their limits and trying harder and harder things to profit from their new genius.
