The Shadow Self

What do you feel is the darkest aspect of your self?

The one you afraid to confront, sometimes revealed through others.

Comment below, would love to dedicate a thread to this.

Don’t be shy.

I’ll get one person to get the ball rolling first.

Anger, without a doubt. I’m making huge progress on it though.

The one that thinks it can “recover” lost chances and life was unfair.

Not the darkest. The most dangerous and source of the darkness itself.

I may be wrong. Up to revision.

This is gonna turn into a confession plus apologies thread. I sense it xD

Idk if your mention of “revision” was in reference to the “Alchemical Revision” series, but they can definitely help deal with that.

Regret turned resentment for me.

But maybe that’s a surface take.

Prob the feeling of lostness if that’s a thing.

The confusion from the chaos of life, turned into this sclerotic sense of existence.

How small we are, and everything is.

But how big of an impact it can be to you.

The viewing of past present future.

Who i think I am what I can be.

Ilusory.

Idk imma come back to this post.

I can relate to this

and this.

I’ve been in this funk for the last year or so of not knowing which way to go. Feeling like I’m drowning. I do see a light at the end of the tunnel soon. You will no doubt find your way also. You have strong will.

My own conclusion is up to revision. Darkness is a deep thing…it goes on and on.

Deep down I know depression is never-ending and I’m just looking other way.

Yes those fields give me hope.

Hope is all I have. If I lose it I’d go straight back into depression.

We live in a sad world man. Heal your traumas…nothing will change, if you look around you.

But we don’t have to “go down with the collective ship.”

Depression BeGone is helpingly me majorly right now. Have you used it?

One equal temper
Of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate,
But strong in will
To strive,
To seek,
To find,
And not to yield”.

Observation through suffering brings wisdom and strength. There is no growth in ease.

Sparingly.

I should be looking forward to St. Valentine not staring at the Abyss.

One of my big regrets (not joining the group, cause I was given a chance) xD. But I think it was good in the end.

Would have been too much of a change to process easily.

Books are usually better than the movie. I’ve been on a reading kick lately too, so I’m sure I’ll get around to reading it.
