That’s a very poor analysis in my opinion. That dude who made the video has no clue about history or economy.
“Asabiyyah” has been lost among almost all countries on the planet lol.
With Japan probably the only one who still has it to a degree.
Since almost no country on the planet in 2024 has any “asabiyyah” left, this is NOT the deciding factor of who rules the world.
Khaldun lived more than 600 years ago and his insights do not apply to the moden world.
America will definitely not fall lol, but will remain among the Top 5 World Powers for at least the next 100 years.

Japan’s on the trend of economic collapse if they do not change their ways, or so i’m told according to another video i watched
i feel i need to stop watching speculative videos about stuff made by other people and grind the brain fields so i can make these judgements myself
do you use the brain fields?
Japan has been in stagflation for 30+ years.
They are not going to collapse, maybe slowly decline further.
Yes, but I have been smart before that
Brain fields + a lot of quality input + thinking about it and observing what actually happens in the world = better judgement
What people like to call “fall” is often some key moment, but often actual fall didn’t happen in history in true terms for a long time, like Roman Empire and its descendant states were fracturing for millenia, and precipitated by a lot of events, that can’t be characterized as a “fall”. Maybe fall of Constantinople to Ottoman forces can be considered one of such events, maybe earlier to Fourth Crusade, maybe de facto dissolution of Western Empire much earlier.
Also whatever happens is very hard to predict like fall of Russian Empire, where actual events were initially viewed in disbelief by almost anyone including revolutionaries themselves.
There were many theories on how nations and states appear and evolve, physical change of people is a hard rule what can be easily observed, rest can be theorized in appealing terms, but rarely with a practical value.
