Ultimate Reiki - Star Exercise Meditation

I hope you could tell I was joking

@Dewbob this is for you, take some advice from the rock :stuck_out_tongue:

In my case, the number of breaths per session doesn’t matter. I usually do 60 breaths before holding it and affirming silently. My session usually takes only 3-4 minutes and is efficient for me.

@_OM Just an update: I continue to use the “Start crystallization now” silent command anytime of the day since it seems automated in my case. Just recently, I discovered that it suppresses hunger which I sometimes feel (depending on the amount of food I eat at breakfast) after doing my daily brisk walking for 40 minutes and listening to several SM audios before, during and after exercising in the morning which really drains my energy. What you posted about its usefulness in anything you do is so true from what I went through. I have been doing this exercise for over 3 months only and it seems I already have a built-in energy boosting genie/servitor in my body which I can use whenever I want to. It really works well! :slightly_smiling_face: :+1:

Same for me. Btw update, did the exercise again tonight and was able to feel the vibrations. Visualisation was a bit more intent. I suppose that helped.

Does adding Shen to the star exercise complement it in any way?

Not supposed to be “adding” ANYTHING to the star exercise if you are doing it the “prescribed” way.
Just do the exercise as directed for a couple months.
Don’t try to “boost” it or “enhance” it or whatever.

The exercise is strong enough on it’s own…
Let it do it’s thing… in and around you.

Focus on actually doing it, without missing 2x day…
that’s way more important than adding to it.

If you get to a certain point of doing it without missing a day, I’ll pm what extras you can do to “complement” it.

You can do/listen/etc whatever you want OUTSIDE of the exercise.

@Yuichi was being wise and mentioned Microcosmic Orbit…
That’s a wonderful meditation to do AFTER finishing the Star Exercise… among others…

I’m only a few days ahead of you then :)

I was a bit quick to point out the lack of ego resistance, though it was true at that point… yesterday it was veeeeery difficult to get out of bed and do the second one! Some changes in circumstances cause my “life” to be a bit draining mentally now (hopefully it will be resolved by Tuesday). My ego jumped on the opportunity of decreased focus to try and undermine this but I didn’t cave in :)

I faced the same thing last night when I felt incredibly sleepy. Just decided to get up and do it at 9 pm. And then had some food and went back to sleep

hey dreamophiles  Just make a small public declaration that starting next week, when I move into my new, much more aligned living conditions, that I’ll be starting (and completing!) the 22 week challenge. I feel in part ive been avoiding it also as I already am experiencing huge kundalini vibrations (which I love, they can just be a bit frightening sometimes) and feared it might get a bit much. But… the stars have aligned and I’ll have the right support around me :zap:

Doesn’t really apply (or does it?!?) but wanted to post it anyways…

How long should this be done for? I just did it for the first time for about less than a minute and couldn’t keep it going for longer without forcing myself. I also feel a rush in my palms and head

My 2 cents is
Do it as long as you feel comfortable and then just a little more. That’s my approach at least :D
It’s good to push yourself a bit but not too much, especially int be beginning, when you’re still getting familiar which the exercise.
It can be up to 144 breaths, holding in the air as long as you can, and meditate after as well (feeling the energy flow). I guess I usually do 40-120 breaths, and meditation after depends on how much time I have. I noticed that slowing down the breath enables me to concentrate on “feeling” the energy better, so that’s what I’m doing now.

@_OM ill be combining this with daily kundalini practice, so, yar… I’m a little afraid haha I’m so sensitive to these types of energies

PM me if it’s getting uncomfortable…(but it would be from your other work…not this exercise)
