Ohh I have no idea what to look for when it comes to that. Wanna direct me where to research in DMs when you have time?
Just binged-watched the first 3 seasons, hoping for a 4:th.
Great show!
I have been scouring the fire stick for shows and movies that depict a wholesome, REALISTIC, healthy relationship that doesn’t involve someone yanked away by an illness. Just, normal life with people committed to building love.
I have not found one!!
I landed on Normal People. At first I was annoyed with yet another show about trauma, brokenness, and lust, but the characters eventually stole my attention.
Recently watched the newer Hunger Games movie and mistakenly mistook the budding love between Snow and the gal as everlasting. I forgot how the Hunger Games series went, apparently. That was disappointing.
I’ve already made it through almost every Hallmark movie and the fantasy land of wholesome love. I need something real. Taking suggestions
The one show I have to follow up with mental health care. It’s too good to not watch, too messed up to let linger and fester in my subconscious.
Could’ve done without this photo
uff tell me bout it, I stopped mid way could not take it anymore.
His obsession for control was like a black hole consuming everything, and in the bitter end it was what caused his demise.
It was the perfect depiction of what happens when you reach a position of power without healing your inner trauma
Their writers are constantly asking how they can one-up the madness! I worry for their sanity, sometimes.
Yeah, you called it. It was such a pity! Sad—and subtle—transformation from genuine to black hole. So subtle, the last scenes of their relationship left my head spinning. It depicted a wise and perceptive Lucy Gray though, who recognized his apparent lack of integrity as being sinister.
I think Snow after the Dark Days in which he was a child and saw the horrors of the war was never genuine again, the traumas of poverty to the extent of performing cannibalism, and the fall in disgrace of his dinasty after the death of his father opened a scar that never closed and directed his life until his last breath.
Everything was expendable to close that scar (As he believe that Making Snow fell on Top, was the way of healing) but every expense made (The lies and deception to appear wealthy while he was a broke ass, the new strategical perspective over the games, Seyanus, Lucy Gray, Tigris, and at last the whole Panem torn by civil war ) this scar larger and larger until he could not see past it making a ton of strategical mistakes during the Hunger Games movies.
I’ve dwelled quite a bit on understanding the character of Corryo Snow as it depicts in a pretty accurate way how my shadow-self is and how it is encoded to behave.
I think it is time for me to rewatch the whole 美少女戦士セーラームーン series.
200 episodes.
5000 minutes total run time.
This will take some time lol…
But comes with reminders for important life lessons from childhood.
Watched the new Alien Romulus movie.
My rating: 4 / 10
- Good special effects
- Zero new ideas (if you have watched the prequels)
- Many major logic holes
- Soundtrack varies between quite good and very annoying throughout the movie
- There is no actual tension and as I viewer I did not care for any of the characters
- Poor acting by most of the actors
- Will not watch it again
