abute Alien Romulus: i think the movie did tons homage to the original creature and developed from there and what human species is capable of hmm…creating.
i found the movie very graphic in depicting its ideas and brave also, found the creature effects and development fantastic, till the last ten minutes of film, where i prefer i wasnot in the cinema.
i didnot go watching it with idea for wanting to care for any humans and i found the relationship between two of the characters really heartwarming and well built for todays standarts of US cinematography.
i found it cool to be able to see everything and apllaude the intent…
i recommend it for any Alien fan.
i senced alot of effort put in making it and i commend this.
after all old Alien movies had Misis Weaver and she is nothing you can easily replace.
so i dont blame the filmmakers not having succsees in trying to.
u found it brave they continue to make those films without her presence.
i missed the Character of David. badly. the script however wasnot for him and there was no place for him there.
last, this is the first of any Alien movie where you can sence the atmosphere of the Alien comics lore, and this is in my eyes and achievement.
i give it 7/10. and i would buy the Blue Ray gladly.

Yeah it was really good.
I watched it in the cinema.
I experienced creepy moments just like from the first two movies. Really well done. I’d easily give it an 8/10

I just came across Kaos on Netflix - Kaos (TV series) - Wikipedia
A black comedy about the Greek gods in a modern setting. So far it’s pretty funny.

Didn’t have high expectations, two episodes in and it’s very good so far. I like what DC is bringing now with the dark style.

A-ha… this is the thread I was searching for… I recently watched Molli and Max in the Future… it is…sci fi, rom com, wacky, a laugh at the weirder parts of some spiritual communities, part reflection of US politics. So unserious, I really enjoyed it. It was that healthy relationship between two friends blossoming thru life that I’d been seeking in tv shows and movies. These love stories are so dramatic nowadays.
Also made me realize I need to watch more sci fi.
