What TV shows are youwatching?

Yes, i do.

I used to watch them when I was a child,
Alongside many films made for kids, including classics like
Home Alone (although it’s a family movie, well, they all are, at least those genres)
And
(perhaps not so popular, Idk), Denis the menace (I forgot the title, there were cartoons too).

Well, literally the whole 90s, and probably some 80s movies too, were showing ultra smart kids or just kids managing to take on thugs and what not.

Good times, simple times - maybe it’s just my childhood nostalgia, Idk.

Everyone knows about Home Alone; it’s the most famous one, but it wasn’t really my personal choice. My favourite was The Sandlot (1993). Have you ever seen that? It’s a wholesome coming-of-age sports comedy…

No, it’s not popular, but I’ve actually seen the Dennis the Menace movie quite a lot, to be honest. It came out around the same time as The Sandlot. The problem with the DTM movie is that I kind of found the writing to be quite odd, and it was even cringe in some parts of the film. It’s very cheesy too.

They were peaceful times and, like you say, simple. It’s not just nostalgia for me; I’d actually prefer to live through the time periods of the 1950s-1990s.

I don’t know… something happened when the internet came about. Don’t get me wrong, they had internet in the mid- to late 90s, but it wasn’t really fully developed yet, and nobody really used it because of its primitive state. It’s around the early 2000s when social media and YT sprang up out of nowhere. From then, everything just went sideways over time after that.

Yeah, it’s not really the best example, but it just came to my mind.

Nope, I don’t remember it, so I don’t think Ive seen it.

I’m going to, though.

Partially agree, but the 90s didn’t have fields…
So it’s a deal breaker, at least for me.

Heard that its good…
Someday I’ll probably watch it.

Yep ep5 done.

It’s really good. Well a bit too slow especially in the last episode but obviously it’s a buildup.

The only annoying thing is waiting a week for the next episode. I think it concludes around Christmas day which is pretty smart.

Resident Alien became a comfort show pretty fast.

And this is just “fascinating” :upside_down_face:
