When do you typically feel the energy/sensations from your fields?

Yeah, my initial goal was to make it my first 40 days. After I did, I revised to 1 year with a check-in at 100 days.

I made sure to stay away from tips/tricks and hacks. To the best of my knowledge, the original process for this was just “don’t lust, don’t touch”… so that’s what I’m going for and it’s been pretty great. I figure I’ll do at least 100 days with the standard model and then I can start talking about upgrades or forked processes.

By no means am I an authority, but in my experience, belief is just about everything.

The things that are “baked” into reality are ruts along a field, they’re just worn paths, plenty of places to walk otherwise, some that have never been treaded - but it’s like a roguelike, you can walk that way, but the rut won’t appear unless you beat the next level.

And if I ever formalize more of it, I can go into how all that works in my head, or research more deeply, regardless… even 50% of medical efficacy is potentially the placebo effect per recent research, then if SR is only 50% as effective as all the dude-bros claim providing you buy into it as fully as possible, would that be an improvement?

That would be my internal thought process in your shoes.

A quick mention about retention and its effects. If having a strong body and healthy testosterone level is important to you then long term retention with zero sexual release will destroy you. I’ve known a number of folks who did the 100 days of retention that demolished their hormones. This could end up having a negative effect on your life long term as testosterone is important for male aging.

Imo complete retention shouldnt be done for more than 2 to 3 weeks at a time. Complete cessation of masturbation is fine if a person is in a sexual relationship with someone. The big effects of retention that can come about should only be done when a person is prepared for them and has a decent understanding and process.

This is a minefield that too many people stumble into and arent prepared for the consequences. If porn or masturbation are your problems then retention is not a fix for them. Focus on resolving the actual issue and use control of bodily processes as an assist. Do not rely on retention fixing the problems on its own.

Update: Got dream’s course, about halfway through the video material and it’s what I hoped for. I hoped for reframing. For expansion on ideas and practices I was doing but not really getting the “aha!” - this is bringing in a much needed second angle which is allowing me to see more depth if that makes sense.

source on this ?? i went 9 months when I was 17 which was 2 years ago

have i fucked my T levels permanently?

don’t worry:

No hard source. Just observation, associating with people and reading over the years. I’ve had some good friends get messed up over retention problems.

If you’re still in your late teens you’re probably going to be just fine if you start prioritizing testosterone enhancing habits in your life (which all men should do anyways tbh). Lift weights, eat fatty meats and fish, learn which veggies help with testosterone gain and myostatin reduction and do what you need to get good sleep.

Retention for a week or two at a time is actually a pretty decent practice imo. It’s anything longer than three weeks that should be reconsidered. Men have hormonal cycles as well and it’s best to learn how to maximize them and their effects for health.

Edit: also keep in mind that testosterone levels in general are low for men now a days. Older folks that have kept their levels high will feel much greater effects of lowered levels than younger people that have had basically lifelong low t levels. If you’re a man you really do need to look into all of the ways modern living has impacted our hormones and how male health has been systematically destroyed. Once you see that and realize that high t levels are one of the main ways for men to feel good and have emotional stability its easier to reverse the process. Then when you have healthy to high levels you get a better understanding of how retention can affect your levels while practicing it.

Surely all the effects of Low T would be negated by the manly man audio?

Okay, so the ADD ADHD I played twice. I wanted to play it three times because it feels super weird. Like prickling in my brain. My initial thought was that it was grating but that is a bit harsh.

I then played Spiritual Growths State of Being. I just happened to be playing it but decided I wanted to pause to give this a test run. I was spaced out but not in a bad way. I definitely felt like if was a bit of forced focus. I was doing other things and had to stop and was just sitting there listening in what felt like a bubble. Very interesting!

most of us do not realize how much focus we lack until we begin to tackle and heal the issue. it is normal to be surprising.

Technically effects on hormones are wacky, albeit possible, their increase is transient and should return to baseline, I haven’t heard about lowering effects for a long period of time, although people can experience it.

Some references to Tarkhanov-Belov phenomenon are scarce and don’t appear to be really scientifically studied, at least not what I can find on the web.

They might be right in common sense terms, by sheer speculation relevant blood flow and muscle tone can easily reduce with periods of prolonged abstinence, once again I haven’t found the studies.

Edit: On PubMed there are studies on fertility parameters and more, but not that conclusive as far as it seems.

Studies wise the “accepted” idea seems to be that retention can go on for basically ever and the person will he able to continue without any real repercussions. It’s why I’d mentioned earlier that a lot of this stuff really comes down to what a person chooses to believe and really who’s opinions you end up trusting. I’m at the point where I’m skeptical of both studies and anecdotes. I don’t even bother telling people what to do anymore or even give recommendations. Only caution.
