When do you typically feel the energy/sensations from your fields?

Right now my experience has been pretty inconsistent. Some days I’ll be really sensitive and feel things while I’m listening regardless of whether or not I’m listening actively or passively. Other days I’ll have a buffer period and won’t have the sensations I’d expect until further in my stack or later on in the day. And of course sometimes not at all. But I’m curious if anyone has a more consistent experience! I’m hoping to build up my energy sensitivity to the point where I’m aware of it always.

  • After The Field

meditation and the star excercise, staying off tech boost my energy sensitivity massively

I typically feel the energy Mostly while listening or using Mandala, or to use your words, during the field, although I barely feel it if I’m used to the field (if I even feel any energy at all), only if I try a new field, for the first few times I feel the energy significantly stronger.

Edit: but the effects remain, regardless of how perceptive I am.

I’ll have to give the star exercise a try! I did see the post for it but haven’t done it yet.

I have read that for many there is an adjustment period and once that is over you tend not to feel the energy!

Indeed.

The first time I use the field. After that I dont feel anything. I dont care about sensations I care about longterm effects.

I think we all care about the long term effects :) I’m just curious about everyone’s experiences. I don’t really care about sensations in terms of fields. But I do care about energy sensitivity as it relates to my spiritual growth and awareness. It just so happens that morphic fields deal in energy so I consider it a litmus test of sorts.

Thank you for the suggestion! It’s currently at the very top of my to purchase list!

I gotcha. Personally I wouldn’t worry about it unless you want to. My energy sensitivity is at least above average. At least lol. You can develop “filters” and/or conditions for when you feel things or are open.

try following: ADD ADHD (Attention and focus) audio followed by mindfullness one or two loops, after the stack try gamma brainwaves one loop.

so you will be certain you are attuned.

In my journey, YMMV, the three most effective things for training me to feel energy have been jing retention, a daily energy practice (I do daoyin), and sound work with my own tuning forks. The first wouldn’t have ever been possible without the second or the third for me personally. But the dailies built the foundation, the sound work helped me break bottlenecks and subconscious limits, and the jing retention keeps cranking sensitivity waaaaay up.

I hope to be adding Dream’s course to the list in the near future, hopefully it’ll join the top slots.

Thank you! I’ll give this a try later or tomorrow and see how it goes :)

I’ll do my own research as to not be a nuisance but if you don’t mind expanding on how one practices jing retention or how you implement the tuning forks into your daily practice I would love to hear it!

So jing retention at its basic is just “don’t orgasm”. Then there’s versions I suppose. For example:

  • don’t do anything physically that might cause you to orgasm
  • don’t do anything mentally or physically that might cause you to orgasm
  • everything’s on the table so long as you don’t actually expel
  • it’s like voltron, they all get put together in various ways and methodologies

Some are alone, some are with others, some are both. My personal version, retention is a spiritual practice and as much of a diet of the mind as the body, both alone and with others. That being said, the NANOSECOND I come across a trustworthy and competent instructor in the tantric space, I’m getting lessons - I’m not a catholic priest or a monk, I’m only emulating one because I’d heard more than enough testimonial to be curious, my teacher comes from a Daoist and TCM background, and I seem to remember the whole sacred secretion thing catching my attention.

As for tuning forks, take it with a grain of salt, but I don’t really do complicated ceremony well, or at all. I take a tuning fork, I strike it, and I point it at the first thing that catches my attention post-strike. It’s almost entirely a thoughtless intuitive exercise at this point. The reason the tuning forks helped was they got me through detox and “ascension sickness” and just energy being way too intense, etc.

I’m not nearly as respectful to sound healing as I probably should be for all the wonder it’s done for me, but it’s been in that irreverence that the wonder happened… don’t wanna rock the boat. But I primarily use an Otto 128 C and an Angel Tuner set, one for generic clearing (angel), and the other physical work (Otto).

Ahh, just came to mind, striking the 128 (which is a weighted tuning fork in case you didn’t know) and then holding it fork side towards a bony prominence and then following that vibration until I couldn’t feel it any further REALLY helped with noticing when I was feeling energy. Like circling my outer elbow and realizing I felt that in my fingertips, then trying to bend it on its way so it’d hit these two fingertips more directly than those two.

It came from the thought that our entire reality is big data - massive data collection, filtered heavily, and then interpreted and there’s a LOT of signal noise that gets filtered out. What’re the chances that young me thought “that hum under my skin is REALLY annoying, I wish it would stop”? And if it did? Then my biology entering into puberty was set for “doesn’t want to feel energy”, or “doesn’t want to have prophetic dreams” and those systems weren’t further developed in the teen upgrade.

So a bit of a rant, but for me, I think that’s where energy insensitivity comes from. It’s why some people deepen their psychic abilities into, through, and after adolescence. And it’s why I’m sure it’s just another skill, another couple of neurons and pathways, and you just have to work at it.

Jing retention and use goes pretty deep if a person wants to dig into it. Magic/k as well as neigong/neidan methods use jing as an example. It includes understanding and maximizing the hormonal response of the body which includes thoughts and desires. Female cultivators have some pretty insane experiences when they get into it.

If you’re looking for a mostly agreed upon method or philosophy… honestly good luck lol

Some of the main groups that believe in it are mantak chia stans, eclectic energy cultivators and their groups, nofap woo believers and then the various new age initiates. You’re going to have to make up your mind on a number of topics. Some simple advice is be careful of methods that advocate ways to physically block bodily processes to achieve dry orgasms.

My own beliefs on the topic are a mix of various ideas. I think there is some worthwhile experiences and benefits to be gained but I also think that a lot of people get too caught up in it and a decent number of people do more harm than good by getting really into it. If you’re interested I could lay it out a bit more sometime.

I practice SR and am currently on 4 months. My suggestion is go 90 days and see if you sense a difference. Most people notice changes so drastically that it’s difficult to go back to that lifestyle.
