Haha,

My tale speaks of times before Deity Zeus.

It is when the Hewbrew mountains could speak.

And God favored the smallest, humble ones like Sinai instead.

But doesnt look that small to me gotta check which were the bigger ones.

Ok i checked my sacred scrolls of Zeus’ Tales.

This particular Scroll is very old and it was all dusty the very last one of the scrolls i have, i had to be careful re writing all of it here, while not damaging it. Never dared to read it before so papirus wouldn’t get vanished by my touch, but luckily only a half did.

Mountains reaching towards the sky were regarded as divine dwellings. Babylonian mythology placed the birth of the great gods on the so-called mountain of the world. To the east of this mountain, they imagined another mountain where the sun rose and where the gods gathered at the beginning of the year to determine the fate of the universe. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, the dwelling place of the gods is the mountain of cedar. The songs from Ras Shamra mention the holy mountain of Zaphon. On the ridges, heights, or peaks of Zaphon, gods gathered, there Anat built a temple for Baal, and there Baal had his throne. Because of this connection, Baal is called Baal Zaphon, and his worship, along with his name, was carried by Phoenician sailors all the way to Pelusium and Corfu. Echoes of this mythology are found in the Bible. The defeated tyrant from Isaiah 14:13-15 wanted to be like God, saying, “I will sit on the mount of assembly, on the heights of Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” In Ezekiel 28:14-16, the king of Tyre, the god-king of his city, was “on the holy mountain of God” before he was cast down from it.

For the needs of piety and for worship, such a mountain must be precisely located. Concrete reality and idea, worship and myth are inseparable: Olympus is the dwelling of the gods, as well as a mountain in Greece. Similarly, Zaphon is Baal’s dwelling and also Jebel Aqra, which closes the horizon to the north of Ras Shamra. In the Greco-Roman era, it was called Mount Kasios, where Zeus Kasios, the successor of Baal, was worshiped.

Mount Kasios , known as Jebel al-ʾAqraʿ (جبل الأقرع‎‎)*** in modern Arabic, is known to be a sacred mountain in Syria that hosts great divine power. It has been recognized by many names- such as Mount Hazzi by the Hurrians and Mount Sapan by the Canaanites. The sacred site can be understood as a “Mount Olympus of the Near East,” and in ancient times it was considered a sacred home of the storm deity Baʿal Zaphon , known to the Hellenes as Zeus Kasios , and His sister ʿAnat along with the other deities. In mythology, it is this location where a great battle between Zeus Kasios and a sea-serpent entity identified by the Greeks as the monster Typhon took place. The temple of Zeus Kasios was described as being “dark with clouds,” and the deity is described to appear as a dark-bearded figure.

On spring of 363 ACE, the divine Emperor Julian took the route to Mount Kasios to bear witness to the early dawn and give worship and provide a sacrifice to Zeus. The sun rose, and in broad daylight, it is written by Libanius that Julian received an epiphanic vision from the God, and “saw the God and after seeing him… received advice” (Libanius, Or.18.172). It is here that Zeus, “[as] one of the immortals descended from heaven, took [Julian] by the hair, spoke to him, and after listening to [Zeus’] answer [Julian] departed” (Libanius, Or.18.172)

oh looks like it was

But the question remains whether it was Zeus’ or Baals’

The mountain, which is currently called Jebel al-Aqra, was also an ancient Canaanite cult site. It was considered sacred by several ancient cultures, sometimes as the home of all gods, and was where the storm god Ba’al Zephon was worshiped.

Ba’al Zephon is the true Zeus then lol!

He looks even madder!
