I do generally like Japanese anime and appreciate content like Studio Ghibli’s work but I never followed the DBZ or Manga kind of stuff.
Although I use to enjoy watching Black Lagoon but I’m not too sure if this is classed as Manga. It literally has a ‘Metal Gear Solid’ (game) feel to it but more crime based fantasy rather than military fantasy… have you seen this before?
I also just recently watched that Alita: Battle Angel anime (haven’t seen the original 1993 Manga version of it by the way). All I can say is, I honestly found it so hilarious whenever Alita was just kicking ass in it

Looks like “The Big 3” got Back in the last few years, with the Return of Bleach, the Ongoing One Piece Masterpiece and The Second Part of The Sequel to the Naruto Manga, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex!!
Boruto is INSANE, it’s FIRE (well, unfortunately the Anime is on a hiatus and tbh, except for Canon Content, it hasn’t been Great, maybe decent)!!
Possible Spoilers Ahead…
With Naruto and Sasuke out of the picture and the entire world fooled by a Worldwide Genjutsu (actually it’s something even stronger than Ninjutsu or anything related, it’s “Shinjutsu”, something inherited by a few individuals, from a God of the Otsutsuki, Shibai), with New Threats which have never been encountered before and with a Certain Rogue Ninja being Back to the Village 
, Boruto’s Narrative gets Better and Better - Truly, The Inheritor of “The Will of Fire”!!!
