I was gonna make a dystopian thread, but fk it.
We make the world we want to live in.
And if we don’t like it, we choose to to be the change we seek.
We as a collective make the moves.
That is all.

I see. I read something about it being a proverb. I thought it might be some new movement to resurrect the glass bead game.
I’m already an outcast, though I’m still of some use to the system. I’ll check it out on discord.
Speaking absolute facts my friend!
This rant could have come from me lol.
These are the lectures that my best friends/close family members sometimes get to hear from me.
It is all so obvious and most people cannot see it because they are in a 24/7 hypnotic trance.
Lmao, I forced myself to go now and then, just enough to keep getting my scholarship. It was my job to show up to the few mandatory courses in exchange for that check.
I can’t imagine paying 1k for college.
All those who went to these big school, paid a lot and now work the same crappy jobs as the rest.
The only ones making any real money were the ones that were already coding apps before the first course of computer science and now they are obese and depressed working jobs they hate. All 3 of them are messes now.
They are slaving away to get slightly bigger paychecks and much less free times.
People are also chasing meaningless titles, assistant of assistant of vice president of the sales department. Some of them I don’t even know what the title means.
I always ask the same and only questions “how much you making after taxes and how much you working ?”
The rest is window dressing.
Some people are happy to have a promotion where they get to work hours more for an extra 100€ per month. They are “getting somewhere”.
Plus they have to live in the city, tiny little boxes that cost a fortune with blend white paint. Same size as a hotel room. Makes me sad.
Working 8-5, 5 days a week, the rest of the time is resting in the expensive box then walk that urban sprawl for a place to drink coffee or beer with colleagues.
Nothing wrong with living like that, life is hard. But I wouldn’t call it success or freedom.
I know too many people who left their fancy jobs for minimum wage ones in the country. Used to sound crazy, but all these people are burned out, now they are happy to be gardeners in the sun and wind, going home without thinking too much in an even bigger apartment in a rural area. They call their old jobs “hell”, now they are doing something “useful”.
ChatGPT is awesome for me. I read a textbook and then I have it also read the textbook and create a summary then list of questions/answers on each specific chapters. College experience sucks ass in terms of learning but when you learn yourself it’s more enjoyable.
Cut down my studying time by 3+ hours.
laughed my ass off with that guy
@Alex Can we use the chatgpt in chat-gpt.org instead of the one in the OpenAI website? I don’t really feel comfortable using OpenAI because of the privacy issues and it also blocks VPN users.
I was going to sign up to it but I don’t think I’d feel comfortable with handing over my personal info like IP address or phone number as such and big brother watching everything I discuss with the AI. They are literal data harvesters… it’s a mind reader.
The website I mentioned has the same chatgpt as the one you use but is non-profit and no sign up is required. I think the website is just for educational purposes. Even that’s just as bad anyways because they have no privacy but I thought I’d try it out.
A person created this chatbot. The most dangerous thing about AI is the people using it. In the right hands, a lot of good can be done with it and in the wrong hands, you get these kinds of creations.
Just told ChatGPT 4.0 to take all the prompts I have given it over the last few months and see the overarching pattern and direction to give me an answer I didn’t think of asking for and it never gave me.
I’ve surprised by the results
ChatPDF is a tool that enables users to interact with their PDF documents as if it were a human. It works by analyzing the PDF file to create a semantic index, then presenting the relevant paragraphs to a text-generation AI. It can be used to quickly extract information from large PDF files, such as manuals, essays, legal contracts, books, and research papers. The data is stored in a secure cloud storage and deleted after 7 days.
did you ask it in every conversation? because i’ve asked about memory and it answered
As an AI language model, I don’t have the ability to retain information from past conversations or store any data permanently. My responses are based solely on the context provided in the current conversation. If you provide me with new data or information, I will use that to generate a response, but I won’t retain that information for future use or remember past conversations. This is to ensure privacy and maintain the integrity of each conversation.
Is this from the free ChatGPT? Or GPT-4?
gpt4
@Alex i asked it if it remembered what I asked it over weeks and it said “of course, you seem to be interest in xxxxx, we most often talk about xxxx, recently we talked about xxx then xxxxx then xxx.
I asked it many time to be sure it remembered and learned my style and behavior.
It’s bullshitting you lol
looks like it, i`ll see how i can prompt it to remember from now
It used all my previous questions from different chats to build its own questions that might interest me and give me an original reply
