One thing that is already happening is that compromise of integrity when it comes to information that helps and dictates our lives. These days people are just uploading videos with voice of influencers and experts like Jordan Peterson, Andrew Hubermann, Alan Watts, so many, putting words in their mouths. People who wouldnât know better will believe that the advice is coming from them.
Now YouTube is good for watching nothing, AI is becoming scarily real.

I honestly donât find much use of AI for humanity except in the field of scientific research whose commercial applications are not always immediate which acts as inhibitor for greedy companies which fund such research like Google and IBM. I donât like any art created by AI, may be music is little different but still human composition is way better than any made by AI. AI makes people even stupider than they are already, more lazier and probably fatter like in the movie Wall-E.
As a kid growing up on sci-fi novels, series and movies I had a different idea of AI but all I see is bunch of images and videos and everyone goes gaga. The irony in all of this is we donât need AI to solve the problems humanity is facing right now, people donât want to take responsibility for their own actions instead blame others and other countries.
AI solving climate crisis is a ploy by greedy clowns like Musk and companies like IBM and Google nothing more.

AI will be bigger than the advent of the internet and social media, so, yeah, civilization as we know it will change quite radically. Thatâs almost a truism. If this drone/UAP wave is based on the breakaway civilization or nonhuman intelligences and causes a tipping point in our frame of reference, that too would change civilization as we know it.
This change/end of the current form is actually overdetermined. What would be interesting is to here someone give a good argument on how most things can stay the same despite all this new input.

My big problem with cryptocurrencies is that the fervor surrounding them rests on the fiction that they are outside of the control of nation states. Thereâs a lot of techno-optimism of the usual libertarian strain about how they will liberate humanity, as if a bunch of math is going to change the facts of life. It wonât. Thatâs not to say you canât make a lot of money buy and trading them, but just remember they exist at the sufferance of power.
No idea which AI company, supplier companies or application companies will be winners. Usually, new tech creates a mania, followed by a sorting out, followed by an oligopoly.

What golden age? Earth is now reaching 8 billion+ population. We have greedy companies like IBM and Google which say AI will not replace jobs to the public but secretly fire the entire workforce outsourced to low cost countries the jobs which AI can do in fraction of time. Google itself fired so many from their own AI divisions.
AI stealing jobs has been happening already for months, people are worried about losing jobs and on top companies donât hire after making a candidate go through 5 to 7 rounds of interviews. These are majorly US companies.
The planetâs resources are depleting especially the food and countries like China capture food resources and store for decades in advance. GenZ teens who are certified to be really stupid all over the planet resort to ultra fast fashion not caring how it damages the planet. They just donât care they need to wear a new dress every single fâcking day.
Parents do not teach their kids anything about how their actions affect the environment and the planet. We need big guns now (aliens or anyone) who can drum some sense into the dumb people of the planet.

I used to worry, too. All of the problems out-there, and I never confronted the problems within myself.

The realm we are in will be fine, itâs much older than us and will continue just fine after weâre gone.
You have opportunity now to do the work this place does a great job of facilitating. Every moment spent worrying about out-there is a moment spent not working on whatâs already in-here. You must do it yourself, the âbig gunsâ arenât coming, and you donât want them to, for then it will be much too late. Open contact is a very bad thing in this predicament we find ourselves in.
I remember when the boomers/xâers were saying millenials were going to destroy everything, now itâs the gen z dummies, but itâs already switching to gen a and then Iâm sure gen b will deal with the same. Things are always changing, for better or for worse. Donât let 2nd-hand nostalgia for halcyon days long past keep you from seeking the center within yourself right now. The best time to plant a tree was yesterday, the second best time is now, and all that.
Who cares about civilization? Have your own personal renaissance now. If you donât find that possible or worthwhile, you must ask yourself why that is. Over time, you may find yourself wanting or needing less and less, you might even find civilization to be a trap and detest it. Not saying I do, but Iâm sure someone out there does.
Youâll regret not doing the work now, so stop worrying about out-there. There will always be a boogeyman on the horizon, but the true danger is usually already in your midst. Thereâs a chance youâre already in deep.

Iâm very well aware of this how older generation thinks the next generation are stupid and hopeless but people who subscribe to this idea but at the same time ignore the damage that is happening to the planet whose consequences the world has seen overwhelmingly alone in the last year all over the planet are simply delusional. People like these are no better than the people who are actually contributing to the problem.

Its the older generation who allowed the youth to grow up in the soulless landscape of today. In fact, children have done the best they can, for the most part, in finding soul or meaning amongst the world they were dropped into
