A few nights ago I had a genuine surge of inspiration in designing such a game. Wanted to post here to see if there was any interest, and then the legality of doing so.
I recalled reading about the founders of Troika games a while back. They had a team which consisted of a designer, programmer and visual artist. That format kind of stood out to me.
My work experience doesn’t include actually designing video games, but I believe I have a talent and skills to do so. There were a lot of neat mechanics that came through to me, as well as visuals for the look, feel, and play styles of what this game could be. I have basic programming skills, and no experience as a visual artist, so those roles would be needed. I’d be fine producing/directing as well as designing.
For now this is more about “throwing” the topic out there and seeing what comes.
