When I started my graphic design company I was told to style my hair high on my head, apparently itās easier to get respected as a woman when you are taller (Iām 5ā2") I didnāt care much for the Dolly Parton hairdos so I never tested that theory.
Generally Iād tend to say that what works most is what makes us feel good about ourselves. I call it the nailpolish effect: I have never met a guy that cares whether or not a woman has nail polish. But a lot of women do have it nonetheless. So itās not really to appeal to men since they donāt care. But since it makes them feel pretty, they are more confident and therefore more attractive. So the nailpolish works albeit perhaps not for the reason we might think.
Iāve told this to clients to make them realise the importance of getting branding that theyāll really like and not solely for their clients, even if it costs more or takes longer (and I fully believe this, itās not a scheme to overcharge, thatās something I would not do). When you are proud and confident of showing your business card, it can be felt and speaks well of the company

I remember when Victoria Beckham had that sort of longer on the front Bob, literally every mom in school had the same hairstyle lol I canāt imagine anything similar for myself

Wow I had no idea! In Quebec itās not like that at all, Iāve met only one other woman with that haircut. Funny enough, I wasnāt quite sure what being a Karen was, outside of knowing it was pejorative, so I googled it and pretty much all the images that showed up had a variation of that haircut Eh, Iām alright, Iām thinking of getting my hair cut like this again soon I loooove it for myself. Plus, I donāt feel in danger of being seen as a Karen haha
Yeah, Philipās comment earlier on in this thread seems accurate, we want what we donāt have or used to have. I had wavy hair that I either curled or straightened, then when I shaved my head, for some mystifying reason it grew back straight and now I miss the wavy hairā¦eh boy

Well, first of all, I look at other things first when I see a woman, but hair is important as well; if she is hot, she is hot, long or short(er) hair, but I prefer long(er) hair on females.

Basically me too, however there are cases in which even short hair makes a woman equally fascinating, perhaps simpler or as they say in my country, like soap and water.
