Arenāt you also quite short though? Did it go below your hips? Some of my friends who used to have hair they could sit on had some accidents sometimes and always ended up cutting it 
Mine is around the same length as yours now,.but Iām tall :D
Of course healthy, strong long hair looks pretty, but after a level somehow I find really log hair a bit disturbing to look at.

It was down to my calves haha.
I hadnāt cut it until I was about 20. Or rather,
wasnāt allowed to (familyās religion x their own beliefs)
but once they found out,
they straight up stopped speaking to me for like a year bahah.
I mean

So because Iād already moved out/ was veryy far away from them,

Fast forward to last year I finally went to my first real hair salon appointment. It was really exciting.
I like my hair short because it feels soā¦liberating? Itās really nice.
I know I look better with long hair but the liberating feeling with shortā¦nothing compares 
A lot of people say their hair is something important to them but for me itās a symbol of letting go inserts emotional music
This week Iām getting it cut to 14 inches (i think i said 14 before but itās actually 22 rn whoops- it was 14 last June lol). But
Personally I want it at 10

In the end it depends mostly on your facial structure.
Any haircut can look good on the right face.
Also something that is good to consider, is some hairstyles are associated with being young, others are more sophisticated and are associated with maturity, independence etc.
Imo itās also an important aspect, for example if someone looks very young and feels theyāre not taken āseriouslyā enough, a change of hairstyle is a good trick.
One of my friends used to have very long hair and cut a significant portion of it off about a year into her career as she was struggling a bit in a male centric environment and wanted to be taken more seriously as a professional (she is one of the smartest people I know, and also a very pretty and thin woman)
I like the more modern take on it, when someone has textures hairā¦ mine is super straight like a nail (an I canāt be bothered to curl it daily tbh) but a wavy bob is 
Iām pretty sure the guys wonāt like it, but I think this style looks badassā¦ in my downtime I love wearing my leather jacket (though increasingly I dress in a more.elegant way also for leasure, so I donāt get to wear it so much anymore), this would match that really well
But itās high maintenanceā¦
Iām not a big fan of this straight sort of style
This is more or less my hair texture when itās wet/messy, Iām just blonder. Which is why for me personally I find this haircut a bit boringā¦
